Just heard that we will sign him sometime next week, hes not bad player but i think rafa is trying to sign him to make gerrard a bit more happier as they are very good m8s he can provide good cover and surely this will mean biscan and/or diao will go, rafa seems to building a very good squad and im sure of gr8 things to come this season

Never in a million years. Barton is a waste of space. City is desperate to sell him, and they are planting false rumors which the papers are more than happy to print.

Such a waste of space that e controlled the game against Gerrard at Anfield last season.

Get a clue ya fruitcake.

He's a decent player but we've got better in Hamann, Gerrard and Alonso.

I don't think he's good enought for LFC and we have enough central midfielders, if anything we need a striker and a left winger.

A left winger?

Kewell, Warnock, Riise and this Garcia fella can all play left wing.

Kewell's top class, Riise's a good player and Warnock has potential. Have yet to see Garcia but he's got good reviews.

I've got a good idea, why don't we go sign Vieira, Davids, Baraja, Albelda, Gilberto, Scholes and Gattuso aswell. Then we can have 4 centre mids for each place.

Wouldn't mind to have him but I am not sure if he happy to become Squad player if Rafa want him. Would be good cover for Steve Gerrard in my opinion.

Theres two levels

Players we need NOW to improve

Players for the future and JB is one of them. Also could be handy cover as exoect a few more offloads.

Could also sign in Jan as his contract is up soon

Can't help feeling Joey's getting a look in on account of being best buddies with Stevie G. For me , a decent enough midfielder but why get shut of Murphy and go out and buy a player who is about on his par ? it don't make sense and i don't expect we will see him at Anfield...........

i guess u really have a huge hole in ur backside... what r u toking abt??? do u really know how to watch soccer?? or evalutate a player's quality... he is at manc... whom the club is as bad as our blue neighbours... so u wun know how good he is...

he is a quality defensive mid... good passer and more battling qualities than our african curly-hair player... and he was selected to the England under-21 setup... how bad can he be if he can be selected???!~!!

Riise never plays on the left wing, he always plays left back, I see where your coming from though, personally I think Garcia will stick to the right.

why would we need barton, hamman, gerrard and alonso exceed his quality by miles, he's just another decent workhorse exactly what we dont need :angry:
