Its great news, but now have heaps of strikers. Will rafa sell one do you think?

Benitez had me convinced from day one he was the right man and would lead us to glory.

He's just convinced me now he's gonna make Shankley, Paisely and Fagan look like amatuers. I really do think he's going to be that good. Fowler will score 10-15 goals this season for Liverpool. :)

I was gutted we were beaten by United on Sunday, but I reckon it was the push Benitez needed to decide tobring Fowler home.

maybe robbie will play a bit part here and there, and lets face it the other strikers arent exactly making 'first choice, pick me' noises all over the place to rafa at the moment...but he cant help but lift their levels..

the way id like to see it is in terms of the morale and inspirational qualities having fowler back in the dressing room would make. on top of that, remember that rush came back as some kind of striker coach a while back, ok, maybe that might be beyond robbie's remit. who can tell?
but ill tell you this, no-one can deny the positives having him back. for however long and in whatever capacity, a good move by rafa, even if the purse strings are tighter than a nuns chuff, it might just be the catalyst needed for our poor bemoaned front-men to feed and prosper from.

this is for the fans today :bowdown

He's come back because he has a point to prove to the idiots who doubted him. He wouldn't be silly enough to come back if he wasn't upto it.

Houllier has a lot to answer for when it comes to robbie. Also Evans squandered his talents. They both misused and wasted a lot of Liverpool talent. Fowler was amazing in his teens and it is a shame he did not have people like Rafa and Paco to work with him back then. If Paco can rejuvenate an aging and unfit Fowler he is surely a magician. FWIW I have a damn good gut feeling about this. It could work but then Fowler must stay fit, avoid injuries and work 110% on melwood, change his diet, stay clear of booze etc.

unbelievably made up. words cannot describe what it will be like to see him in a red jersey again. ive been hoping for this since last season when it lookd like baros was off but didnt think it very likely until now. absolutely awesome. if robbie is god then now rafa is surely on a par as hes had the guts to pull off a risky move like thi., obviously not a financial risk, but because expectations will likely be high there is always the possibility of a massive failure. wont happen tho, when robbies fit hell be as good as if not better than moro and goes without saying better than cisse.

got an excuse to celebrate tonight now!!!   :D

We sold Robbie for 11 million and got him back for free.  There is absolutely no risk associated with this transfer.  This is a very brave decision by Benitez.  Instead of going foreign again, he listened to the fans, Parry and Moores i'm sure gave their opinion and Benitez responded.  My opinion of him grows by the day.

I wonder what Houllier and Thommo are thinking right now ?
