Modern day terrace songs - If u got a good one u've heard.........

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby wrighty (not mark!) » Fri Sep 30, 2005 4:52 pm

Just thought i would open up this thread to see if anyone had any funny songs or great songs that they have either heard just recently or that are modern day classics.

I seen one in the KOP that made me laugh. It was about Rooney referring to the clapping incident...

If you're angry and you know it clap your hands *clap, clap*
If you're angry and you know it clap your hands *clap, clap*
If you're angry and you know it clap your hands *clap, clap*
So if you're angry and you know it and you really wana show it if you're angry and you know it clap you're hands!

Has anyone heard the great new funky version of You’ll Never Walk Alone by a girl band called Milan? Check it out at milan4.com, it’s brilliant. http://www.milan4.com/freemusic.html

Celtic fans to Andy Goram after it was revealed that the chubby keeper had been diagnosed with schizophrenia:

"Two Andy Gorams, there's only two Andy Gorams" :D

No so much a chant but a remark I heard a few times that used to make me laugh when camera was playing for us.  In the event of him being tackled or pushed off the ball:

"be firm titi!"

I think West Ham have their own chant for Fat Frank,it's to the tune of One Man Went To Mow:
"Ten men couldn't carry, couldn't carry Lampard"

There's an adaptation from QLD Roar supporter to the Melbourne Victory- "We hate you coz your Victorian".

Then from QLD (everyone standing) to Sydney - "Stand up if you hate Sydney" but when people lose a bit of their enthusiasm - "Sit down if you hate Sydney".

:D :D

Oldies but Goodies.

One that always makes me laugh was chanted by Newcastle fans on Boxing Day.

"Feed the Scousers , Let them know its Christmas time"

Hear it every Xmas brings a chuckle every year.

I'm grateful, this thread helps a lot. I struggle tu understand what Anfield sings, but many times it's hard to understand. It's curious, because while I understand every single interview, I almost don't understand but a few phrases of the crowd when signing.

:( . My favourite ones are Que será será, (Gerrard) another one that's always sung but I don't know the name, and YNWA of course.

The one of Raffa Rafael also rocks! and I've adapted it to Morten Skoubo, since I'll go away to Alaves this Sunday, I'll convince my mates to sing it. I know, I'm a plagiarist :D but then, most of the songs in Spain come from England, so I'd rather call it "importing".

Fields of Anfield Road

I think it's this one, because you sang it before Istambul.
