Has the football world gone topsy turvy? - Ronaldo to tottenham.....

The Premiership - General Discussion

surely not, why would one of the best strikers of this generation want to go to Spurs.

Brazilian superstar Ronaldo reportedly wants to join Tottenham.

Real Madrid’s World Cup winning striker could have the pick of Europe’s top clubs, but his relationship with Tottenham’s new director of football Frank Arnesen has left him dreaming of a move to White Hart Lane.

Ronaldo said: “Frank going to Tottenham makes me think of England again and it would be ideal for me to work under him.” (Daily Mirror) .

Thats been around for two or three months.

More media ****** if you ask me.

Newspapers aren't worth reading. There all the same as the s*n and all print lies and ******. They'll write anything to sell a newspaper, that includes making things up.

Ronaldo followed up his remarks about Spurs last week by saying that he will stay at Madrid until 2006 and then leave on a free transfer.

The chances of Ronaldo going to Spurs this summer (or indeed in 2006) are probably 1/1000.

Well, all I can say is that Santini is the new Houllier (Houllier France 93 and LFC 2003 and 2004!)
