If we keep Houllier this summer it will prove me right In my claim that our board has no intentions of challlenging for the title and if Liverpool dont have those intentions there is no point in even having a football club

Roberts

So if that is your view, and you wont go until we play better football and win things?

That makes you nothing more than a glory hunting MANC.

lmao

houlliers twin, we lose matches and slip up in them, cause the supporters don't sing lol what next? you'll be blaming the pitch next or we had a curse put on us, wise up

yeah and another thing, you sound exaclty like houllier, 5 defeats away all season, but you haven't looked how many we've won away, which isn't many i tell u that, you can't make a objective view if u don't look at the postives of our away form and the negatives, and our home form is a disgrace, but the team was supported at the start of the season, the reason y the fans arent singing now is cause they've given the team and the manager a chance all season

and most of us are fed up with loyal fans like you, pretending that we've got the right manager and everything is alright, but its not, 4th place as a target isn't my idea of success, need a new manager to take us to the next level

If we had as good a home record as newcastle.... were would we be then?

4 points better off, but if our away record was as bad we'd be level - can't see the point in "if" statements. We're only one point better off than Everton at home and most teams are not far off us

Home records

1. Arsenal 45
2. Man Utd 39
3= Chelsea 34
3= Newcastle 34
5. Fulham 31
6= Liverpool 30
6= Aston Villa 30
7= Everton 29
7= Portsmouth 29
9= Birmingham 28
9= Southampton 28

Away records

1. Chelsea 38
2. Arsenal 36
3. Man Utd 32
4. Charlton 25
5. Bolton 24
6. Liverpool 23
7. Aston Villa 22
8. Middlesboro 20
9. Birmingham 19

..........Newcastle 16

We're sixth in both lists yet fourth in the league  ???

The problem with being a Liverpool supporter is that we know our football.
We know when as team meams it !!!!!

I will always offer my support and i will always back the team.

At least if i ever do feel the need to complain i could do it knowing i'd done my bit and gave them every chance to prove what they are worth.

Love to me is about forgiveness, giving chances, realising mistakes and correcting them, admitting mistakes, having the courage to do the right thing and most of all loyalty and support through the bad and good times. Houllier has shown all of these, if next season he fails to improve he'll walk away.

I love my club. I always will unless something dramatic was to happen.

stu_the_red wrote:The away record isn't that bad. We've only lost 5 league games away all season.

The home record is a discrace. 5 games lost.

This imo is mainly down to the fans. I am sick off all the excuses like we need a reason to sing. The away fans shout us down EVERYFUCKING GAME!!! When anfield is noisey and the atmosphere is electric we don't lose. I can't remember once a great atmosphere and we've lost.

When we get behind the team we've achieved the unachievable (Roma 2-0 anyone??).

The home form is costing us to many points and we (as fans) aren't helping the situation. We are there to support our lads and intimidate the opposition so lets start doing that instead of giving the opposition the backing!!!

10 losses this season and 5 at home says it all in my opinion.

I don't live in England, i've never been in England but i know that greatest supporters in England are 'you'!..

The worst think on the world is that the away fans shout us down. But in our stadium, Fenerbahce-Sukru Saracoglu Std.(generally called 'Kadikoy' in Turkey), it's impossible...

When i read your message, i  was really worried..I think that is definitely not repeated again...

Don't be silent!..Don't be quiet!..'This is Anfield!'

you support your club not only your team,we've had great teams in the past and they still needed great vocal support and this team probably needs it more it does effect them.if you like G.H.or not means very little that will be sorted at the end of season and if hes kept on we still have got to get behind the lads 100% even if you think some of them may not be giving the same back it means nothing they will be weeded out.Support your club it needs you :angry:

Leon dude, EVERYBODY on this forum is one of my gang...   Cos we're all one big gang of Liverpool FC supporters (or some supporters and some fans if that's how you wanna look at it).

We all see the club we love from different angles, some from the KOP, some from the other stands, some even from the f##kin executive boxes..!   ???  Some religiously go to every game, season ticket in hand like it was made of pure gold, others go to games when they can, when they can afford it, when family ties allow. Others don't have the good fortune to get to any games at all, being forced to get their LFC fix on Outer Mongolian satellite TV or, worse still, ITV. :laugh:
Others can only rely on a bit of 5 Live or reports in the newspapers.

Wherever or however they follow our glorious club, their opinions are as valid as anybody else's. Yes, being at the game DEFINITELY is the best way to appreciate the fullness of the game, partcularly off-the-ball work and overall positioning. I get to as many games as I can and would donate a kidney for a season ticket, but I can see this whole argument from both sides. Not a scouser but have lived in and loved the city of Liverpool. Live 1 hour's drive from Anfield. Soemtimes I'm there, other times I'm trying to find a boozer that's showing the game. Sometimes (god forbid) I might have no other choice than 5 Live whilst sitting in traffic jams, family in tow.

However you appreciate the beauty that is LFC, you're entitled to share your views with others. They might not agree, they might have totally opposing views, but everybody's views are valid. NEVER shout somebody down because of their background. Open debate should be encouraged, not marginalised by an arrogant few with chips on shoulders. If somebody disagrees with you, respect them because that is their right.

Above all, remember everybody on this forum is in my gang, your gang our gang - those who love LFC.

Except Kenco of course in who, despite all my efforts, I can find not a single redeeming feature.

So there you have it Leon, back to my sensible, measured self. It's just that absolute f##kin sh#thead w#nk#r motherf##ker ba#ta#d Lee Bowyer gets me riled. tw#t.     :angry:   And yes, GH did choose to send him packing.   :)
