Jay-z for arsenal? - New playa!?

The Premiership - General Discussion

Sounds like Arsenal FC may have enough funds to buy some new players after all, that's if they agree to take on a new celebrity investor!

That celeb is none other than US rapper turned record company mogul Jay-Z who wants to buy a stake in the North London giants. A keen sports fan back in the States (where he co-owns a basketball team), Hova fell in love with the Gooner's brand of free-flowing footy on a recent trip to Highbury and even met club captain Thierry Henry.

"Jay-Z loves football - he thinks the whole scene is very bling. He has also met Henry and thinks he is really cool," reports Launch. "Jay-Z is a man who gets what he wants - and he wants a portion of a Premiership club."

Maybe that'll persuade Henry to sign a new contract? Meanwhile Jay-Z is rumoured to be on the brink of coming out of retirement with a brand new album by the end of the year.

He's got 99 problems, but Wenger aint one....   "B1TCH"
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On
