Alright people, I'm leaving for Europe tomorrow so won't be on here much for the next 5 weeks or so. I will be in Germany with a friend then coming to Liverpool and London for two weeks before I go back to the mainland to tour around France, Holland, Switzerland, Austria and Italy mainly.

Looking forward to coming over, hope the forum survives without me

remember mate, its a big bad world out there so be careful, always have your wits about you. if some one offers help then always try to see why they are offering, what in it for them?

the countries you are visiting are generally ok, but still be careful

I'm pretty safety conscious peewee, cheers for your concern though.

Andy, would have loved to come to Spain, but the contiki tours I was looking at didn't go there, and if they did the rest of the tour didn't really suit me. I was initilaly considering coming to Barcelona for a day or two and seeing the Ateltico Madrid game, but the Chelsea - Liverpool game is on the same day so didn't end up happening. Maybe in a few years I'll do Spain and Portugal (I want to go the Azores as I have ancestory from there).
