I had a winter getaway at Karon beach at Phuket............awesome.

Just wish summer would arrive now........in fact i even take  spring at the moment 

Kazza, if you go back to Phuket look out for a beach called "Lam Sing" it's a few K north of Patong and is your picture post card tropical beach (and not swarming with tourists ...... yet    ).

Cheers Woof, i spent most of my time around Kata and Karon and didnt get any further north then Patong bar district 

With direct flights from Perth to Phuket, im sure i be back there again in the not to distant future
