WORLD CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP 2005 - official topic

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby A.B. » Fri Dec 16, 2005 2:52 am

When we were losing 3-0 at half-time against AC Milan, our fans were singing "We're going to win 4-3".

You want respect, well you have to earn it. You come here and insult us because you don't think we respect you but in the process you're disrespecting us. Contradicting, no?

Secondly, if it werent for the English[I'm not English btw] there would be no football and there would be no 5 time champions Brazil now would there?

I hope they dont tell Manchester united and Real Madrid that....Listen,you boys stop pretending you were World Champions and we might start respecting your club for its other achievements.Honestly, you arent doing yourselves any favours by saying the Toyota cup is bigger than the South American Cup.It just makes people laugh.

That's the way it is in South America. You can't change that...cultural stuff are unchangeable.

I'm sure that if we keep on talking we'll find much more cultural differences. For example, it's really strange for us  to go to a match and keep yourself sat down and quiet. Here, we are used to singing supportive songs during all the game.

In England they use to sing, man, have u never listened the Reds with their "You'll never walk alone"?

The diference is that in Brazil we use to jump and sing with more entusiasm.

It's way different and you know it is.

I agree with you. But if it's not insulting I don't see any problem in provocative photos and messages. As our teams are not rivals, it contributes to hype the match.

Therefore, if it wasn't for God, Gerrard wouldn't have been born and Liverpool would not have won Champion's League.  :D

And don't think the entusiasm of the fans should be a topic here, cos in this stuff the :censored:' Argentinians are simply unbeatable, and in my aknowledge they are a rival in common for Brazilians and Englishes :D

What a load of bullshit. Gerrard didn't win us the Champions league, 11 players wearing the Liverpool shirt. It wasn't just Gerrard that helped us knock out Juventus,Chelsea  and beat AC Milan in the final.

There was also the likes of Finnan,Carragher,Hyypia,Traore[yes even him],Dudek,Carson,Hamann,Alonso,Biscan,Luis Garcia,Pongolle,Mellor,Baros,Cisse,etc.. who helped us get from the group stages to the CL final.

Don't be such a fool.

I am brazillian and sometimes I get embarassed with this kind of attitude that comes from people that live in my own country. There's no point on arguing with a person that is fanatic about something - and that is valid for every kind of discussion, not only football.

I'm sorry you guys have to put up with insults from people that are visitors to your forum and think that they're better only because we have 5 world championship titles, I really am. The only :censored: thing that is taken seriously here is :censored: football, that's a :censored: shame.

But anyway, we could see today that Liverpool has a very strong team and some skilled players although you played agains a weak opponent. Sunday's match is going to be a good one and I wish you guys luck but I hope my team can take that one from you.

See ya

Finally some sense.

But to be honest with ya, some of your fans here have been a disgrace, arrogant c.unts.  :no

Lando_Griffin and A.B.,

That was a joke using the "if" that A.B. used about the English who have invented football! :( I'm sorry and of course I know one guy cannot play for the whole team.

I'm not causing problems either.

You're acting so politically correct that I thought you were English.  :D

This entire arguement sounds a bit like two 7 year olds boys standing at the urinal (toilet) and claiming, "mine's bigger than yours".   :p

We'll see what happens on Sunday guys. That will decide it one way or the other.  ???

Muhauahuahauhau

Don't generalize... I've seen a lot of Englishes treating São Paulo as a poor gang of monkeys from underworld.

If this São Paulo team was the "World Champions" (Best team in the world) Should we be worried then in the transfer market ? Im sure the thought of playing for the "World Champions" would be appealling to all our players. Im sure Stevie Gerrard would really look at the winner of this "Marketing" competition (Club Championship) as being the world champions. HAHAhah  What a Joke..   If all the world champion teams are coming from South America then why are all there top players moving to Europe...  Maybe they see European Leagues as the elite???  When was the last time the top player in England transfered down to Brazil ??

In my eyes the World Champion (Best team in the world) will always be the winner of the Champions League as they are the best team in the best competition.

Therefore all hail LIVERPOOL 2005 Best team in the world !!
