Riise send an early cross to Gerrard who struck the ball inside the post past their keeper from outside the box...hope this helps

although Cisse hasn't played badly, i'd be tempted to bring on Moro as there's lots of opportunity for someone who can head the ball and take his chances. Although- benitez wil probably keep him back for the final.

Two cracking finishes, we have so much possesion it's like a bloody training match. The game has had a very slow tempo at times, we have so much space and are passing the ball around at ease. Absolute doddle so far really apart from the odd half chance Saprissa had.

cisse set up crouches first goal and you can see everyone in the team wants cisse to score.

both goals were class, we are looking good. risse is looking on form as well which is good to see but no need for mori yet. keep cisse on til he pops one in the onion bag
