yeh they were lucky, looked a pretty average team to me. I think they possibly would be relegated if they played in the premiership.  :p

I´m not sure but in 2004 we made a friendly against Bolton. The game was in England.

Score:

São Paulo 4 - 1 Bolton

:D

lol, im only joking mate, if truth be told i have no idea how good sao paulo are. Im pretty sure that were better because of reasons i have already stated, but we'll wait and see on sunday, provided we dont seriously f*ck up against sapprissa or whatever the f*ck there called.

Look, you Sao Paulo fan. Don't be so paranoid over this mickey mouse tournament because as far as we are concerned, we have many other higher priority games to worry about. So please, leave your comments on how Sao Paulo are better then us, better then this, better then that, by yourself.

If we win, then thats another trophy. If we don't, I won't give half a sh!te, unless we manage to come back without any adverse effects. Just think about it, I would rather obtain full points during the 4 game Christmas schedule rather then winning this mickey mouse cup.

U don't even know sao paulo..

Cicinho plays in Brazil Team..
And others already did it..like Amoroso, Junior, Mineiro..
Lugano plays in Uruguay team, and Milan has look interested in him..like others great clubs of Europe

((Denilson isn't the ex-Betis player...This actual is young, with the same name))

looks like half your team will be shipped off to Europe come end of the season...too bad you lots could not built on a quality team...but the talent coming out from S. America are pretty amazing.

Cicinho looks pretty good but the rest of the team looked flat and average (judging from today's game). Very little imagination from these lots considering the potential talent in your team

Given your team's pedigree, I wouldn't be surprised if you lot are THAT desperate to win this cup.

FIRSTLY, mates from Brazil...let's talk in English. No Portuguese! We are respecting them and they are respeting us. No signs that we are not welcome here...so, let's do our part.

nah they're not Brazilain champions, they won the Copa Libertadores though. They finished mid-table this season, and apparently have been in bad form since they won the Libertadores in July.

They were very poor though as you said, but credit to Al Ittihad, they gave Sao Paulo one hell of a scare, they deserved to take it to at leass extra time.

Assuming we beat Saprissa, if Sao Paulo play like that again we should beat them comfortably.

We actually don't have a midfield. LOL That's why we play in 3-5-2, because our right and left corners are very good. We have two great defender in midfield (Josué and Mineiro) and just one to attack, Danilo.

Anyway, this tournament definitely means alot to these Sao Paulo fans. I could see why they would get offended by people telling them how it's on the low end of the list of importance to LFC. It is, though, to most fans. That's always been the feeling. But, a trophy is still a trophy. People just think of it as a headache because of when the competition is played. That's all, bambis.  :p

Do you guys hate being called bambis or is that some other Brazilian team?? No offence, really. Just joking around.

The trophy means a lot in South America, in general. Many people in Brazil are supporting Liverpool during this week.
