A threat to chelsea? - You're having a laugh

first of all i wanna make clear i'm not around to wind you up or slate your team, i've been browsing this forum for a while but Tis the first time i  post.

I've got the feeling some of you are getting carried  away cos of your winning streak lately( mostly against average teams), some of you go even so far as to suggest you might be challengers for the title :suspect:  cos you're currently 2nd.

C'mon you need to pipe down a little mateys

I think noone can deny the progress your lot have made over the last few months. seems your team is starting to grow together  but STILL you DONT have the depth and the quality to compete for the title til May , least of all when you're already 12  points off the pace. you might finish 3rd seeing as the :censored: scummers look :censored: this year  but definitely nothing more.
you may have the quality to achieve something great AT TIMES like you did in the CL last year ( congrats for that
 )  as you're a decent defensive team, but you dont have that stability , you still can lose to any premiership side ANYDAY !   :talktothehand

I'm fairly certain that Liverpool won't win this year but it could happen. What is so bad with some people hoping for this?

Wigan, an average team. An average team that believes in an idea, and pushes his defence up no matter they're in Anfield or Stamford Bridge. A comfortable 3-0 compared to a struggled 1-0 you got, it's a fair comparison of your state of form and ours.

STILL you DONT have the depth and the quality to compete for the title til May , least of all when you're already 12  points off the pace. you might finish 3rd seeing as the  scummers look  this year  but definitely nothing more.

Until you started to receive the money of unknown and dark russian sources, you really didn't have any experience about what's to fight for a title. You should know better than that, it's not the same to win a league with a 20 points of difference, or to have a fight with another team.  If we cut the distance to 6 points, ah, you'll feel the pressure, and games like the one of Wigan won't be won easily any more. Wait, that's already happening.

Get your facts right, 9 points, in winter is not an impossible obstacle. Better check some stats of the past on your league and other leagues, specially those seasons which were very struggled between 2 teams.

As can any side, that is the whole thing about football mate and why we all love it so much.
I notice you haven't put who you actually support as you obviously don't have any allegience to Liverpool.

Oh, I didn't get the scummers bit and thought it was a Chelsea Fan.

I remember when Tottenham had some name in Europe. I was a child. Played against them in the this preseason, it was our first match, tbh, we were :censored:, but I didn't see a great team on the other side of the pitch.

True. but  for stable teams as chelsea ( again I'm not a fan of chelski, far from it !!!  :veryangry  ) you just dont have the feeling they can lose to the likes of Blackburn,Sunderland or Portsmouth ,even when they're struggling they still manage to get at least a draw ,which is a big difference to Liverpool .

Yes but playing under pressure is another matter. I'm pretty sure that regardless the difference of points, they are not THAT confident now, and it's still december.

dude you say you are not on here to wind up. and you also say you have been here awhile, in that case you should know very well that the majority of us do not believe we are contenders this year and that 2nd would be an astonishing result for us.

Therefore there is no reason to start this thread, except for a wind-up.

Have you seen us play lately ??? You need to watch and understand the aura of invincibility we are acquiring, we'll be the closest challengers to CFC.

Your train has left the platform  :rasp
