Wigan are where they are bacause they have some good players. Chimbonga is a real find, in the top three or four right backs in the Prem I would think, while the left-back Bates or Baines or something is a smashing young player. The two centre-halves are solid and sit quite deep, while in midfield, another ex-Liverpool man Jimmy Bullard is a cracking little footballer. Long time posters will know I've always rated Damien Francis and consider him to be one of the best box to box midfielders in the league. Man U could actually do worse, he is a far better option than Djemba-Djemba or Kleberson in my view. Up front Roberts is fast and powerful though I do feel they've missed Ellington somewhat. I actually fancied them strong to stay up before the season started but annoyingly didn't put any money on it as they sold the 'Duke'.
All that said, the keeper isn't good enough and they have lost a couple of times recently. I think we'll win comfortably, I'm still waiting for that Rolls Royce performance to make the World sit up and take notice. 4-1 Liverpool.
