About ten mins after the second half at Man City had started Cisse went on a run from the half way line & when he was almost 35 yards away he let fly. The shot went ont for a throw in & at that moment Cisse's game was over. A supporter next to me said that he was fed up with the big clown & then a few more started. The bad feeling toward the striker was obvious & when he came off Benitez didnt even look at him. Rafa is giving Cisse every chance to prove himself worthy of the Liverpool no 9 shirt but time after time he looks out of depth. Pundits call him a "world class striker" & when he arrived from France we all wanted him to be exactly that. Is he? Can he be? Will he be given more time? I think that Benitez will sell Cisse in January if, he gets the right price or deal for the player. Rafas mantra for Crouch is that it does not matter if he gets five goals all season yet Cisse is under massive pressure to deliver. Even Cisse himself said that a striker will come in January, well unless Nando's going it'll mean one thing. No Cisse. In my opinion the papers have been getting it wrong with there current leads on who Liverpool will buy in January. I think Paco & Benitez only know. YNWA

ah man. why when we are going so well do we have to think like this? I don't disagree Spion.

We are wining games away, our defence is solid (apart from that aberration against chelski) and we are finally scoring goals. when you look at the goals we have scored in our last 5 games (betis aside) we look real good.

But since this thread is here, i'll put my 2 cents worth.

Yes I agree with you, Cisse looks like he will be sold. The problem is he is such a likeable striker, with great attributes, but appears to not want it enough. He does not appear hungry enough. he doesn't chase 50 - 50 passes and seems not to be on the same wavelength as Crouch.

I would hate to see him go, coz i know he will star in his next club, but i fear it will happen.

I am hoping he will find the back of the net in prolific fashion over the next couple of games.

c'mon Cisse, c'mon 'pool !!!!

Spion has 33 posts and i would guess that he/she has already started about 15 threads, that are duplications of previous ones.

Dont appoligise to me mate, he does it all the time, but its a bit stupid when the other Cisse topic was one below this one
