Thats why alot of people are turning to Sky, I mean it costs f.ucking fortune but at the end of the day who can complain when they give 45 odd minutes of extended highlights and its on all night incase you been out. They also show your champions league games, and the skysports news channel aint bad when you got kelly daglish and georgie thompson.

The only downside is that you got Andy Gray giving his smug remarks during the games. ???

I said Everton were one season wonders on the BBC messageboards and got the usual "Liverpool are" pathetic responses. Everton went from 17th to 4th to currently 18th, one season wonder is an accurate description. I seriously can't see them going down because there is so much dross down the bottom and THAT is what p1sses me off about MOTD. Fair play the goner game was a good 'un but after that we were right up there

Frank - MOTD shouldn't pick the matches before the results, therein lies the problem. So many matches are hyped up and sometimes what should be a boring 0-0 draw like Everton v Bolton turns out to be a good game packed with goals. Boring for me can be chavski, most weeks they win and it is only when they lose anyone cares (even if it is the mancs that beat them)
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

Sorry Owzat cannot agree. "Match of the day" by its very title is going to be the top match of the day. Yesterday it was Chelsea V Barcodes, Charlton V Scum Wigan V :censored:. Five from the top of the league. You cannot argue with that!.

When we are further up the league and still get shown late then complain.

Whether we like it or not MOTD have a schedule and have to edit their programme. Consequently they have to pick their games and hope they can make the best of them. How many times have you watched a game live only to see the highlights and wonder if it was the same match you watched.

Lets not get paranoid. Just be happy that things sem to be going well at the moment. I would suggest that our match V City on Saturday will be higher up the list. Maybe I'm wrong lets see.

Now call me stupid but wouldnt that be the case if manure, chelsea or Arsenal were last ??????
The 3 top teams i have mentioned there dominate the programme week in week out.You would think especially with their being two ex players in the studio our coverage would be much more than what it is.

rant over

I agree entirely (in fact i was going to start a thread myself on the topic after last night). We played villa 2 weeks ago in an early kick off, so i thought they would probably show our game first. Not a :censored: chance. So imagine how :censored: off i was when after watching a couple of the other games i fell asleep and woke up to find Hansen and :censored: features 'analysing' our match. So this week i was thinking maybe we'd be lucky and get shown first or second. Not a :censored: bit off it they even showed the :censored: bitters getting walloped in an evening kick off before us. What the :censored: is going on Liniker sort it the :censored: out.

I don't think I've seen that many censored icons in one go before.

If I remember rightly, last December/January every one of our games was shown live.  These things balance themselves out over a season.  Try to stay calm, there isn't a huge BBC/KGB conspiracy to make Liverpool fans support Chelski.

It doesn't bother me tbh, i know everyone hasnt got sky, but if you can afford it...get it.
Football first shows great highlights and is on about 3 times over the course of the night.
I watched extended highlights of both our game and the bl@e sh@te's.
To be fair though we might want to watch Liverpool Pompey...but is it as big a game as the Manc scum against Charlton...who have started well...or Arsenal vs Wigan...who are flying ?
Other than the feature matches on MOTD the others pretty much get no time anyway....so whether we are 4th match or last doesn't really matter imo.

I don't even bother watching the highlights on MOTD. Sky Sports Football First shows an hour highlights of every match

same here judge, football first is a great idea, but for tjose who do not have access to football first i do feel, yes MOTD highlights of the liverpool games has been noyhing but minimal, even the big games and its surprising as this year our performances our more entertaining and watchful.  its also annoying that our matches are shown last, like yesterday on MOTD" our match was shown 2nd from last, now thats idiosyncratic (adrian chiles, whats that all about)

I'm pretty sure that the football first you're talking about is rebranded in Australia on FoxSports as the EPL Highlight Show, it goes for an hour. If its the same program that I'm think of, why on earth did they put the nil-all draw on between man City & Blackburn on before Liv/Pompey match???
