Match of the day - Liverpools lack of coverage

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

yeah i guess that is sort of puzzling but i can see why we werent show straight away. If we get a game that we win 5-0 or it ends  3-2 or something and we are not shown first then ill be furious

The City game is more like a Derby game so does this mean the future Derby matches will only get a 4 minute show!!!

P.ISS POOR!!!

Didnt get to see MOTD as im on 6-6 night shift , but it doesnt seem to surprise me any more with the BBC .
The old controller of the sports department was an avid Liverpool fan  (hence the likes of Hanson etc )   and the beeb were accused about a year ago of being  biased towards Liverpool , and as we all know ,  the Beeb doesnt like to be accused of anything  so i guess they have now gone the other way  in covering matches with Liverpool in them

I wonder if we are going to be last again with 5 minutes coverage

Its not as if they're the larger well supported clubs. As much as I hate it, I can see why Chelski, MAn USA & Arsenal are on before, but NOT West Brom & Birmingham, even though it is a derby match, it can wait.

It really out of order. Saturday night,ya try to keep the wee ones up long enough to see Liverpool on M.o.t.d  and they never make it. Liamac said the beeb dont like to get accused of anything ,and thats no lie, when you think of how many times they have been accused of bias towards Liverpool ,theyve probably took this action. Alex Ferguson was always doing it.
Plus the fact they didnt get to televise our Champs league success -a victory also for itv -maybe theyve said -fc.uk you liverpool.

How about emails with a logical arguement?

In fairness to MOTD,they had to put SunderlandvBirmingham on before us.Putting Liverpool on last guarantees they hold on to a substantial percentage of their viewers.Lets be honest, very few people would stick around to watch Mick Mcarthys men.

There is another way to look at it ...................MOTD is simply keeping the best for last , as do most programs  :buttrock  :buttrock  :buttrock
