LA, I've got to say your treading a fine line saying we (UK and USA) have "asked" for the bombings. The government rules this country without the best interests of the people in mind, so why should they listen to a 1 million-strong march?

I'm not being funny, but thats 1 in 60 people in Britain - hardly a majority.

I maintain this - Blair was right to back the yanks in overthrowing that sadistic b*stard Hussain. The silly t*at hasn't got anything else right, but credit where it is due.

No religion/faction/individual that encourages mass genocide is entitled to exist. The Bible states the opposite: Kill one - save a nation.
Until people learn some compassion and common sense, the world will continue to go to sh*t, and the spineless countries like France and Germany will let it happen. Britain will not.

'Best interests of the people' Are you serious?

Get real mate!

But seriously, I dont want to get into all this, its old ground, I may have made slight generalisations as I cant be bothered writing it fully, as people complain about the length, but thats the general jist of what I want to say, lets say in a 'nutshell', but anyway, this was about religion and its moving away from that now.

And once again, you are misqouting me, I did not say 'we' 'asked' or 'deserved' the bombings, go back maybe and read the context in which I initially made that statement. I said 'it could be argued etc etc;' and although a fleeting statement with little reason (though I have plenty, which would just be wasted here!).

Oooooooo  the 'fine line' I missed it, where is it then? :D

Anyway bed is a calling.................  :sleep

I am muslim and had a great holiday recently, i only just saw this thread. Thx to those sincere wishes.

I just wanna say that the majority of LPA's views expressed in this thread are not shared by me, my family or friends.

Btw LPA there are plenty examples of mufti's playing with little boys. not isolated to catholics although they have been covered by better by media.

LIVERPOOLANYTIME wrote:whereas you could argue the West (mainly America, but here too with 7/7 {if you believe that of course}) ******have asked******* for the trouble they get, what with random entering of countries and using brute force to bully people or help people (Israel

Read mine again, I said "WITHOUT" the best interests of the country.

And regarding this quote, you quite clearly say we've "asked" for it. In whatever context you wish to place this, it is blatently obvious you are accusing us of antagonising these extremist scumbags. I don't see how helping innocent people live reasonable lives without a satanic dictator threatening their existance can be percieved as "asking for trouble". Still.

Whenever "it could be argued" is mentioned, the content is almost always the opinion of the conveyor. It is a way of making your point without committing to it. Please don't patronise me.

In whatever context you wish to take this, my view is thus:
Saddam, Osama and all the other extremist b*stards can take a running jump. Saddam is about to get what he deserves, and the goat-sh*gging coward "Dusty" Bin Laden can expect a similar fate. All are accountable, and if these evil sons of bitches think they are destined for heaven, they seriously need a screwdriver and a lot of patience, because they must have worked more screws loose than R2D2 after 5 years on a Waltzer.

I would honestly love to stab the c*nts through their miniscule, dried-up hearts. They are Satan personified, and no matter who backs them, or how many ponces run scared from the fact, these sopping piles of cowardly cockroach vomit need wiping of the toilet-seat of life.
It doesn't take a man to brainwash some imbecile into flying a plane into an occupied building with false promises of heaven.
It takes a man to stop them.

You make some good and valid points (but I am leaving this subject alone now cause it will drag on and on and on!) but you seem to be brainwashed just as much as any other, you just dont think you are, just like they dont! Thats my 'view'.

BTW, I did notice the 'without' after, but knew you were gonna reply so didnt bother changing the first one, also slight side note, you say about the 1million, ok stats and all that, but then we have CGGY saying the majority dont want the war, yet from these boards I see quite the opposite, so whats it to be?  See this is what i talked about earlier about 'saying one thing and doing another' in relation to the West!!!

Anyway..........TAXI!!!! :p

Kareem, a Question

I know you enjoy a good argument,Infact you would cause murder in an empty house :D Every time a thread like this appears you are very quick to point out the virtues of the muslem faith. No problem there! infact I dont have a problem with any religion, each to his own.Iwas just wondering if a thread regarding Jews were posted would you be as voiciferous.
I ask out of interest, not to score points [racism/biggotry]just to see if you would take up the mantel of the minority,as you do whenever a muslem thread appears.Or like us have you been brainwashed as well. :p

If it wernt for the English and the Yanks you probably would'nt be alive Karim, if Hitler would have taken over Britain, and you say we deserve it, so does that mean your mother, whom you say is Scottish deserves it also?
If it wernt for the Yanks and the English Slobodan Milosevic would still be ethnic cleansing in Kosovo, you dont know what your talking about, with all your conspiracy theories and Anti-western thinking, the scary thing is about your idiology is your a likely candidate to sit on a bus/tube what ever and blow the fecker up.

yeah, he seems very anti british for some reason.

also he seems to think its ok to commit crime and take drugs and make racist remarks (basically all brits are alchoholics as an example. imagine if one of us made such a sweeping statement about another culture, we would have had a boring lecture from him). strange set up that. its ok for him to do wrong (and then be proud of it) but its not ok for others.

not really a good person to start taking the moral high ground

" One thing though, you will not find an 'Elder' in the muslim faith, playing with little boys, I am sure he would find a swift death as should be the case for the priests that do that vile behaviour here," (quote Liverpoolanytime)

Oh really ? For example .

An Imam Remanded in Custody for Paedophilia

Religion, we are told, is necessary to keep society moral, in which case we would expect religious priests to be the upholders of morality , pure and good people. But no!  Witness the cases in recent years of Catholic priests who have been imprisoned for sexually abusing young people placed in their care. There have been such cases in Ireland, the USA, Britain, France, and Austria.  Now we have the case of an Imam of the Algerian mosque, where he teaches Arabic and the Koran, in Mulhouse in N.E.France  He is in prison awaiting trial for "sexual aggression on minors by a person in authority."  He was caught in the act by the sister of one of the victims.  In order to buy their silence, the Imam seems to have paid them some money, and sweets.  [Source:  Libération (Paris, French Daily newspaper)
