I dont see many people that are religious and follow their faith by the book.

But do you go to church Wrighty, if so how often? If not, when was the last time you went? (Pls be honest matey! I am always honest )

There is no faith in this country (IMO), and I mean this when you compare to other 'christian countries' around the world, be it Europe, Africa, South America and even the Far East.
Even the Christians in Egypt are serious about there faith.
Dont get me wrong there are those do worship in this country, but they are the last of a dying breed, youngdters today are not interested AT ALL, yet their muslim counterparts will be found in the Mosque on a Friday, and probably going to Arabic school on a Saturday (this is mainly for Asian/African children, so they can understand the Qu'ran properly!).

Go and find out about what the 'church' are now doing to entice youngsters to go to church, you will be very surprised, it is the Priests/Bishops/Cardinals etc; that are 'stripping down' the faith as you put it, NOT other religions. This is the problem, you are blaming others for your own problems!!

I often wonder if it is the case that people are jealous of others dedication to their religion.

Ok, I will assume that you are Catholic/Christian. Whether you are practicing or not, is irrelevant.
You guys seem to be latching on now to the    business.

But it is no different from Christianity. Being Roman Catholic, I know this for a fact. Ie; Do we not kneel at regular intervals throughout the ceremony? Up and down, up and down!
Its no different whatsoever, just a different format if you like, just like Aussie rules, or Gaelic football to give a comparison.

Any question you seem to have or problem, try asking the question or looking to see if the same problem can be found in your own back yard first!

Religion is a joke woof ur correct!! A lot of the clergy in Ireland are being exposed for interfering with young children!! The sh.its gonna hit the fan soon!!
I feel that if one has no regrets and has lived there life well and with good intentions there is no need to seek solice,forgiveness,well being or sanctury in any idol,be it a piece of wood in a rainforest to a tribe of something or other or a catholic on the falls road sitting in confession!!There are thousands of religions in the world and each say theres is right!!
