Is right, Liverpool FC is my religion. That may sound blasphemous to some, but I'm sure a lot of us feel the same way.

Even the Christians in Egypt are serious about there faith.

Yeah , I guess some people are more easily brainwashed than others .

God is a great idea , and it really helps to control the uneducated and unimaginative .

Priests, Rabbi's and Mullahs , Fu*king spiders , all of them .

i see religion as a way of controlling the weak, its for people who do not wish to believe the truth and who want to escape reality.

however that said if it makes people feel happy then practice it, i really dont give  f@ck, but i do object to killing people in the name of religion.

i actually live in a muslim country and the muslims have no choice in their religion, they are forced to be muslim, they can not convert. this takes away their freedom, its as though the religion is saying 'we wont give you a choice, if we give you the choice you would leave'. people should be free to choose.

also you would be surprised how any people do not pray, and do not adhere to the religions laws (I say laws as opposd to rules, as here they are laws).

one good thing about here is that no one tries to force their beliefs on non muslims, i think the muslims in UK could take a leaf out of malays book. anyway when i meet someone i dont see a religion, i just see a person, if they try to impress their religion on me i just f@ck them off, not interested and never will be

Fuc.kin right fella come to think in fact YNWA is a hell of a lot better than any Hymn a clean cut and living Richard Brown from essex wit 2.4 children and an ugly wife with no sexy knickers and make up could ever care to sing in a crowded church at 11am on  a Sunday morning!

Few good points here, and peewee does make a good point, that some people dont have a choice its forced onto them from when they are born, therefore they dont know any difference.

Its easy to say there is no God and religon is all hogwash but what happens when there comes a time when you cry out for God and you know he helps? How can we say there is nothing until we try? That guy (cant rem his name) spent a lifeetime trying to prove evolution but yet on his deathbed who did he cry out for? :lookaround   The revelations are now.
Has anyone ever did the ouija board? Ive seen some dodgey :censored: happen with that thing -surely if there is evil like that -there must be good too.
Be careful what you say on here people-God is watching us.

Isn't there something in the Bible that says God will still accept those who do not believe?

I'm not looking for a loophole, I genuinely want to know, as I heard it somewhere before.

I spent a couple of years as a kid being taught by nuns and had religion literally beaten into me on a daily basis ,still remember get slapped around the head for asking "why do I have to go to church when god knows I don't really want to be there ? " they never answered my questions ,Mother Mary Magdelene (a prototype of Darth Vader) just fixed me with her gimlet eye's and laid into me .   :sniffle
