Who'd've thunk it. We had Chelski in our pockets all game, should've had at least two pennos & Crouch looked world class(just add a couple o goals me hearty). In all seriousness we look better prepared for this seasons champ league & if my prediction in the pub last night comes true we'll be playing Houlliers Lyon in the final!
Benitez has the midas touch in europe, just hope he can do the bizzo in prem league now. Because if we can play like that all season we could be the only team to slightly push the Russians. A couple of signings in January & we'll be flying. My only regret is seeing us all realize that Cisse is'nt what we dreamed he'd become. Granted he has pace, but Stevie Wonder has a better eye for goal! I dont know if its my advancing years but the big summer signings we always seem to make dont fill me with joy anymore & all I wish for is a Ledley King or Super Dan to come back to Liverpool. YNWA

Ledley yes. Super dan, no. But you are right with cisse. I like the lad but he just ain't gonna cut it here in this system. I ain't saying he is . Just a case of a player being very good in a different league. Tomasson, Smicer et al.
