And great to see you will ignore Real if they come knocking.
RAFA: I'M HAPPY HERE AND GOING NOWHERE
Paul Eaton 21 September 2005
Rafael Benitez has again moved to quash speculation that could soon quit Anfield and take over as Real Madrid manager.
One newspaper has this week linked Benitez with a move to the Bernabeu as pressure grows on current Madrid boss Wanderley Luxemburgo who has just watched his side lose three games in a row.
Benitez, however, has dismissed the claims that he could be heading for a return to Spain and once again insisted he is more than happy with his job at Liverpool.
He told Liverpoolfc.tv: "At this moment I am very happy here. I am focused on the games we have coming up and I want to win things with my club.
"I don't want to waste my time talking about other possibilities. I am focused on my team, winning matches and I am happy at Liverpool."
Benitez, meanwhile, is celebrating being named 'Best Coach in Europe' at a prestigious awards ceremony in Italy earlier this week.
The Liverpool boss was in Udinese to receive the award and immediately dedicated it to everyone at Anfield.
He said: "I am delighted to have been named the best coach in Europe, but this award isn't for me. It's for the club, my staff, the players and our supporters. It's impossible to win trophies and be successful if you don't have the support of people around you at the club."
