Duncan ferguson - Get in!

The Premiership - General Discussion

Loving the Drunken Duncan og today :D

I said a while back that I thought Everton's games against Villareal would shape their whole season and I'll stick by that.

Losing that tie was devastating for them, all their hard graft last season for absolutely nothing, they're mentally broken now.  Now Moyes will struggle to get the same effort and commitment from his players this season, they know that they can't equal last season's exploits and I think they'll struggle big time.

Everton are grafters, not much talent but they work really hard for each other which makes them difficult to beat.  If Moyes can't get that out of them again, then I think they'll be sucked into a relegation scrap, there are a lot of more talented teams than everton in the league.

Losing at home to Portsmouth :D   I know it's early days, but I honestly don't think this is a flash in the pan, they're in real trouble.  Best team on merseyside :D

Moyes:

“Disappointing is the right word, We didn’t play well and you don’t get anything when you don’t play well.  We have played quite well in some other games and got nothing, but today has been even worse, because we didn’t deserve anything – and got nothing. I didn’t enjoy the way we played in the end, but it was a way of trying to get a goal back. We nearly did it on a few occasions, but all credit to Portsmouth, today they played well, caused us problems in the first half and went away with the points, and by the way, fuck you Duncan!

the italic ones were unexpressed verbally :p :D
