I agree with you. It is odd. He was waxing on about how he didn't want to worry the players, and that we are all one big family, and this will only bond us together!! What a load of boll##ks.

As someone mentioned above, this comes with the job. There are some nutters out there. We have some. Every club has them. He should try managing Rangers or Celtic once he gets dumped out of Anfield. That would give him the shivers.

It's a known fact that after every Old Firm game, BOTH managers will get threatening letters. O'Neill will get them from Rangers fans because Celtic won. McLeish will get them from his own fans because Rangers lost. It's not pleasant but that's the way it is.

As ever with Houllier, he tries to turn everything to his advantage. Haven't any of the local papers asked him for his views on how Arsenal utterly humiliated a side that Liverpool have been unable to defeat in three matches this season??
