I doubt he will be in the squads for the CL matches.

Big Mistake by Rafa selling Baros, as he's arguably our best striker.

Morientes........skillful, can score, but no pace.
Ciise.......Pace but often misses chances.
Crouch.....unproven and slow.

Are you blind? Rafa has stated that Baros will be in tomorrow's squad.

Because Morientes and Crouch have no pace they're poor players? Crouch unproven and slow scored 16 goals in 32 games, where as Baros scored 13 in 44. Despite the fact that Crouch played 12 games less than Baros, he still outscored him.

Crouch proved last season that you don't have to have Cisse's or Henry's pace to score goals.

Lets just see how many crouch witha face like a busted couch, score this season then shall we, and then well have this converstation again!

You don't have a strong arguement on why Crouch and Morientes are poor players, you claim it's because they don't have pace. A striker doesn't need pace to score goals, pace is a plus for a striker.

You obviously didnt watch much of saturdays game then.

Thats an awful thing to say, I seen the interview on LFC TV and he looks like any normal fella giving that interview, give the lad some respect ffs, he's a Liverpool player now, what is it cause he hasnt got a tan and an alice band he looks out of place? Rooneys an ugly b@stard still a fantastic player though.

he hasn't even had a full competitive match yet! give him time and he'll come up with the goods!

Anyone seen that interview BTW? He does look really normal Im not just saying it, he seems like a real genuine down to earth fella.
no ego was over the moon at signing for us, kept ringing jamie Redknapp to ask about the club, and Jamie said your going to the best club in the world with the best fans, wonder would he'd think if he read Hustlers comments

he talks about the club saying us and we that was straight after his medical he said all the right words, he knows he will have to fight for his place, and he will be prepared to do that.
he can add something very calming to the changing room and on the training field, he is a very nice guy.

I want Baros to stay but i guess Rafa has other ideas..

He said he might still play Baros in the game tmr, which will cup tie him for the rest of the European campaign.. True that Rafa can play him tmr and makes ppl think that hes staying for the season, but look at the clubs who has expressed interest in him... Villa, Westham and Deportivo... only Deportivo are in teh European competitions, so even he is cup tied for the rest of the year, his value is still high to the other two prem clubs... IMO Baros is still leaving but i really dont want this to happen....

I hope Baros stays and plays along side Crouch, The more strikers we have the better the team, if one option is not working, we have 3 more to change a game.

hey mate, i spent all of last season defending baros - i think he`s going to be a top striker but everytime he gets within ten feet of a microphone he`s threatening to f@ck off here, there or everyf@ckingwhere.
say we keep him, how long do you think its going to be before he starts winging about being on the bench for this game or not being in the squad for that game.
whilst i like the lad i`d rather get shut now and know where you stand at the beginning of the season rather than have him decide to throw his rattle out of the pram mid season causing disruption in a crucial stage of the season.

i can understand his frustrations... benitez has every right to take him off when he's not scoring but i guess it's a good sign that he's unhappy not playing. he get's paid whether he plays or not, so i dont think it's about money. i think he genuinely jus wants to show what a class footballer he is. how frustrating must the last season under houllier been for him? getting picked behind owen and heskey. there was pressure on him at the beginning of this season just gone to fill the void left by owen, and he did a brilliant job until his injury.

all players go through patches of bad form... and i think he's had one to last him the next few years. i really hope benitez shows faith in him becoz he is a quality footballer... DEFINATELY worth more than £7M. weren't the figure of £11M and fiorentina being thrown around last summer?
