Hi everyone.I am a Liverpool fan from a country far away from you.I am from Turkey in Istanbul.And I support Liverpool in every competition.And also in Turkey I support Besiktas.I find Liverpool similiar to Besiktas.We have the same feelings about our teams.

Congratulations for winning the Champions League Cup.
I'll be here for sharing opinions.

"Rugby coach Sir Clive Woodward, the man who led England to a World Cup win over Australia has sent his congratulations to Rafael Benitez and Liverpool on winning the Champions League.
Woodward is now coaching the British Lions rugby team as they arrived in Auckland to test their wits against New Zealand. Sir Clive and his players were cheering Liverpool on but they missed the penalty shoot-out because they had to board their plane.

Sir Clive Woodward said: "I'd like to say a word of congratulations to Liverpool Football Club. The whole squad sat at the airport watching the game. Unfortunately the plane left when the game went into penalties!

"To hear on the plane that Liverpool had won on penalties was just fantastic. I'd like to pass on the team's congratulations to Rafael Benitez and particularly Steven Gerrard, who I think is one of the world's greatest players.

"I was reading all the hype leading into that game and there was some research done on the best colour to wear when you are playing competitive sport and it came out very clearly that winning teams wear red.

.. have u ppl heard the Spanish commentary when Xabi Alonso equalised.. it's awesome... especially all the screamimg by the commentators.. first screaming for the Italian to be sent off for foul on Gerrard and the the " goaaaaaaall XAbbbiiiii Alonsooooooooooooooooooooooooooo .. " Brilliant stuff

Speakin of commentators andy gray came out wit some brilliant ones:
After Crespo scored Milan's 3rd: "Game, well and trully OVER and I hate saying that."
After Dudeks 118th minute double save: "When Andriy Shevchenko misses from there with three minutes to go in extra-time, you might as well start carving Liverpool's name on the trophy"

Hey lads an ladies,

My first post on here since that incredible night. Have had two of the busiest days at work yesterday and today but that didn't matter one bit! Still seems like a dream to me. I bought just about every bloody paper in the shop yesterday (even the sun - don't jump down my throat it was strictly a one-off) to check that it actually happened.

I can remember watching our last European Cup triumph against Roma on the box back in 84 but i was only 9 at the time - sure i celebrated but i wasn't old enough to really appreciate it. When i read posts from some of the older boys on here i get really jealous as they get nostalgic talking about those great European nights like they were yesterday. But now I've (we've) got my/our own night to cherish and remember for all time. Absolutely awesome. words simply don't do it.

... screamin "send off the Milan player.." and then when Xabi scores.. they go completely mental... Fantastico...
