Great come back after that 1st half. Good advert for the English game, never say die attitude went through the whole team.

The Italians didn't know what hit them and they were shell shell shocked and only had a little spell in the 2nd half of extra time. This was understandable as your lot give it everything.

Well done.

Next season when you play us (Sunderland) i wont be so kind with my words   Job well done

Funny though seeing them almost practising celebrating winning the cup at half time and then........

the rest is history.

Her indoors thinks im mad shouting at the tv but it was worth it as  the Liverpool management listened to me and made the correct changes at half time and brought the cup back to Merseyside.  :)

Rafa was very brave to have gambled on Kewell in the first place, although it went horribly wrong. This guy must have pretty strong convictions making such decisions in a match of this magnitude.

I'm speechless, the second half was amazing and Rafa did make the right changes. Unbelievable.

Ignore me if this is well out of place but was Kewell really up for the game (after going behind)? He seemed to want to be off straight away after the injury (unless it was too bad to continuue). He always seems to have the attitude if things aren't going right he doesn't want to be part of it.
