This story also made me laugh today.

Having wasted millions on Emile Heskey and Clinton Morrison, Blues chairman David Gold finally realised that the most likeliest way he’s going to get a trophy at St Andrews is by buying the old FA Cup himself.

The owner of lingerie chain Ann Summers didn’t deny rumours that he raised the £478,000 from selling highlights of Dwight Yorke’s home video collection in his stores, although he did confirm that the trophy would be displayed with the club’s other silverware… in the kitchen.
