I would go for a quick, reliable CB to replace Hyypia

There isn't many CB's that are quick.

a GK that won't make stupid errors,

Another GK isn't needed, over the past ten years all of our GK's have been dodgy.

and a striker who is happy to sit on the bench yet still score 10-15 goals a season as a sub/cover.

There isn't a striker in the world who would be happy sitting on the bench and scoring 15 goals a season as a sub.

CB = UPSON

GK = NIEMI

Goalscorer = KEANE

Keane got mad at Jol for taking him out of a game why would he be happy being a sub?

Keane is a Guaranteed goalscorer and should he get the goals he can stay on the pitch .......I mean come on we perservere with Baros and he has scored twice in 19 games !

Upson is quick and gives us the otpion of sticking with Hyppia (Best defender we have in the air) and play Carragher at left Back instead of the hapless Traore :Oo:

Doesnt matter who you bring in when a team is allowed to play the way Palace did in the first 15 minutes.

Popovich reminds me of the kind of centre back from the 80s that got away with kicking everyone's legs. I havent seen someone get away with that kind of rubbish for 20 years. They may as well bring back the Italian Gentile out of retirment. I was 20 metres from his tackle on Baros when he gashed his knee. If he'd been booked for that, it would have been a different game. When he did it 2 more times and still not booked, you cant expect your fwds to hold up the ball and play football.

Disgraceful refereeing.
