Cisse has done well in France for 3 seasons, he is natural athlete with decent strength, good pace and a good shot.
But there many parts to his game that need improving. His work rate of the ball is next to non-existent. I was disappointed with his first touch and technical ability as I was expecting much better for a £14 Million player. He gets caught offside an awful lot. And his play has been very 1 dimensional, he just looked for the ball through the middle every time a midfielder picked up the ball, he doesn’t even look what is happening with the play he just makes the run.
He seems to have the natural attributes to make it but he needs an awful lot of work before he can become a top Premiership marksman.
But all credit to him for working hard to over come the horrific injury, and for showing the hunger to get on the pitch. I think if Rafa has time to work with him and he listens he can improve a lot.
