Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Here is a new song for the supporters to sing at the next home game.

It's called "Pass the ball like Xabi Alonso"

(To the tune of Tony Christie's "Is this the Way to Amarillo?")

....................................................................................

Sha la la lala lalala (Clap Clap)
Sha la la lala lalala (Clap Clap)
Sha la la lala lalala

When the day is dawnin'
On a Mersey Sat'day mornin'
How I long to be there
Watchin' my Reds playin' for me there

On the Anfield Road (Oh-oh-oh-ooh)
Where we feel on top (Oh-oh-oh-ooh)
There ain't no feelin'
As on the Spion Kop

Pass the ball like Xabi Alonso
Right to the feet of our Stevo
He'll drive it forward to Fernando
And Morientes scores for me

Give the ball to Xabi Alonso
He'll find the feet of anyone he cares to
Put it in the box for Fernando
And Morientes scores for me

Sha la la lala lalala (Clap Clap)
Sha la la lala lalala (Clap Clap)
Sha la la lala lalala
Morientes scores for me

Hear the Kopites singin'
Hear the song of joy that Rafa's bringin'
The sweet touch of Garcia
Turnin' his man and runnin' clear

Just beyond the dark storm (Oh-oh-oh-ooh)
After all the pain (Oh-oh-oh-ooh)
My Reds keep me goin'
Through the wind and rain

Pass the ball like Xabi Alonso
Right to the feet of our Stevo
He'll drive it forward to Fernando
And Morientes scores for me

Give the ball to Xabi Alonso
He'll find the feet of anyone he cares to
Put it in the box for Fernando
And Morientes scores for me

Sha la la lala lalala (Clap Clap)
Sha la la lala lalala (Clap Clap)
Sha la la lala lalala
Morientes scores for me

Sha la la lala lalala (Clap Clap)
Sha la la lala lalala (Clap Clap)
Sha la la lala lalala
Morientes scores for me.

What d'ya reckon?

Thank you and goodnight.

:D  :D  :D

It's a nice catchy tune, might even keep King Dogleash happy!!!

Can't wait until Xabi returns in a couple of weeks!!!

It would had been "good one Mickey" had he come up with it by himself.

Nobody is saying not to post stuff here but give the damn credit to the person who you got it from, is that too hard? Seriously if you can copy and paste the song then you can copy and paste the name of the person who originally posted it.
