So in your first post you said changing opinions happens all the times, its part of being human. Though in reply you yourself never change your opinions

Well thanks for clearing that up for me, it explains a lot

Sell the cr@p.

Let's be fair. Only e handful of the players have shown the mentality and commitment necessary. 90% of the squad are not worthy of wearing the famous Liverpool jersey.

There are a lot of good cheap players out there. Get some latin flair. Barcelona, Madrid, Bayern München, Milan, Inter all rely on stars from Argentina/Brazil. Why should we let them sign all the best players?

Then we have to focus on creating quality graduates from the academy. Right now the academy is not producing the necessary quality. Only Whitbread and Warnock (and maybe Potter) will make the grade. Forget Raven, Welsh, Otsemobor and Mellor. They are not going to become world class never.
If football is banned in heaven. I'd rather go to hell.

Yeah great idea and when these cheap players most of whom will probably wont end up being anything better then what you currently have then what. Your back to where you started from except you could still paying extra wages or payouts such as in transfer of Heskey for guys you shipped out and at least the guys you had have been under Rafa training regime for a whole season unlike the news ones.
Certainly needs to be a few faces shipped out and hopefully some key players brought in. Considering under Rafa first year despite crippling injury list we still managed to be in position we are in , a massive clearout seems to be a little premature

Like Jamie Carragher said to liverpoolfc.tv:

"We all know that if we don't perform we will be looking for new jobs in the summer. And with only one exception, we will not be able to play for better teams"

In plain text: most players we will end up in small teams like Charlton and Crystal Palace. Only Gerrard will have a fair chance of signing for a big club. I can easily picture Biscan in Wolves, Diao in Q.P.R, Cheyrou in Rennes, Smicer in Portsmouth and so on. Pure and simple.

Only Riise, Hamann, Gerrard, Alonso, Cisse, Carra, Warnock, Carson, Traore, Finnan, Morientes and Baros are worth keepin' We are 10 players short of a competetive squad. That is why we linger 30 points behind the BIG THREE.

Ah lads don't try and stitch me up  :p I said nothing about "Myself" bieng in the right it's just MY opinion and as you can see it hasn't changed  :;):  i cannot however vouch for others and human nature is such that others will take thier own roads on the path to enlightenment and as such will keep out of this conversation from now on  .

Ah and by the way i did not say i do not make poor judgment just simply that once i have done this do not take it back.

Clarification enough?

Warnock will at best be a backup left back at this club.

Raven is better than Whitbread.

Mellor will leave sooner or later.

Otsemober has the potential to become a first teamer. But Rafa is no fan and he looks set to leave in the summer.

Welsh - Just been given a 2 year contact, think we will see more of him next year.
