Not wanting to sound to much like an over otimistic fan.

But he's startin to impress me again now. Against Everton i was saying all game he should be replaced by Murphy.
I wasn't taking into account the fact it was a derby as it never really crossed my mind that was his first and he wouldn't know what to expect.

up untill about 60 mins.

Then he just seemed to find his feet. Passing and creating, moving, he should have scored with his headed chance but the fact that he got there in the first place was a positive imo.

I genuinely believe he can become a good player for us now more than ever. If he keeps this up he'll start winning the fans over.

You can't criticise him for not scoring on his recent scoring form, but I wouldn't want to see players regularly getting in the right place and missing

Le Tallec impressed me in the Everton game. Our midfield is definately looking betta.

With Hamann and Gerrard almost fixtures in the centre and Kewell our best choice on the left, that only leaves wide right. Sadly this is another position in the team which Houllier has not sorted properly in his five years in charge.

I know he was bought as a striker and is still far from the finished article but i like Diouf out on the right. Assuming he continues to improve i think he can be a fixture in that position over the coming years. does anyone else rate Diouf at right midfield?

Diouf has become one of my favourate players this season, a lot of fans forget that he usually played as a striker before Liverpool. I think he was easily the best player in the 2002 world cup but he didn't score any goals and I was happy when Liverpool signed him.

I think he has done very well getting used to playing right mid this season and I hope he continues to improve.

Also I am glad to see Cheyrou is starting to play well now he is back from injury, hopefully he will also prove to be a great player

He tried Smicer it didn't work. We have Murphy who's a good squad player, the season we finished second we were Harry Kewell away from the title. Now we have Kewell. The side is getting stronger. The loss of Babbel cost us dearly as Houllier then had to find another full back with his class which isn't easy.

Finnan
Hyypia
Carragher
Henchoz

Gerrard
Hamann
Kewell

Owen

all of which would walk into any side in the league. If we get Cisse that will be another player in there. We need a quality right mid. Bowyer would have been the answer barring his attitude, Malbranque is the only other option i know of at the minute.

Seen as your such a smart a#se owzat you suggest the players that would fit the system and improve our team. With the exception of Bowyer and Malbranque i don't know any that are good enough.

owzat, a footballer (presumably) very dear to both our hearts once said "i dont worry if i miss them, the time i will worry is when i dont get to the chances"

You should do well to remember this

would u rather a player got to 5 and missed 4, or got to 2 and missed them ?

Theres only one answer to that question but ideally you want players getting in the right positions and then scoring.

Who was that quote?there was a few who said it.

well I remember rushie saying it.But then keegan said it before him.I remember aldo saying it in a tv interview after scoring for ireland.Dixie dean said it but then again so did billy liddell.Who did you hear said it catenacio?

About Kewell on the left...like many games this season the wingers change sides, IT drives me crazy to watch kewell on the right side, every time he is on the left he is great, with the excpetion of a goal or two he is s##t on the right... GH SHOULD JUST LEAVE HIM ON THE LEFT WHERE HE PROVED HE CAN PLAY

I'd like to see Kewell left midfield, up front AND behind the front two. He is so talented he could do several jobs for us, but we should play him where the team is weakest. That has been wide for quite some years now and playing right footers on the left and vice versa is the trait of a bad manager (unless they are exceptionally good in that position)
