i honestly dont think any of the top three would have coped any better with the injuries we have picked up so far and i honestly believe we would be in that top three had we been able to keep the first 11 injury free,i dont think are first 11 are far away from a title winning side its just that with so many injuries its cut us down to the bare bones which would dent anyones title hopes, with a couple more quality signings in key areas this team would be as good as any in the prem at the moment.IrishRed wrote:Last night was the first time I ever entered this website and was disappionted at some of the discussons about how the team is progressing....Bentiez is a fine manger with diginity he never uses excuses or blames the team unlike Houllier.....
The guy has a huge task rebuilding the team, the Board went to sleep in the 90`s,they didn`t see the change in Football unlike Man United and now Chelsea

You'll get used to ignoring the "Get Rid Of The Manager After 1 Defeat" posters.
Agree what you said about the board.
From what I've read on here - there are loads of people who seem to know a lot more about the behind the scenes stuff than myself.
But it always strikes me that we are being held back by trying to maintain the traditions we were once so greatly admired for.
Much as I hate to admit it - Football is big business these days and money talks, Chelski have merely accelerated this process in the Premier League. Sooner or later we will have to decide if we are going accept investment as and when it's offered in order to stay with Top teams or merely be content to survive in the P L without seriously challenging for any honours.
The corner stone of football is no longer about true supporters and the working class (much as it pains me to say it).
