liverpoolfc.tv info....
Newspaper reports today claim that Liverpool have stepped up their interest in Everton midfielder Thomas Gravesen.

Former boss Gerard Houllier had made some advances before he left Anfield for the player and if today's reports are to be believed, Rafael Benitez has got people working on a potential transfer.

The Danish playmaker - who is out of contract and available on a free transfer in the summer - is also wanted by Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Recent reports have indicated that the Spanish giants are prepared to pay £2million for the player now rather than wait until the summer. Everton have offered the player a deal worth £40,000-a-week but Real have offered him the same amount after tax.

Our feeder club would be gutted to see Gravesen switch to Anfield but they'd be powerless to stop such a deal from happening if anything was ironed out.

is that a good idea or a bad idea??

I read it yesterday and it's under media watch, not always true. I doubt it's going to happen.

Routledge is a liverpool fan (i learn it from champ manager). So he might prefer us instead of spurs if we go for him. Looks a bright prospect.

Routledge rejects Palace deal

Crystal Palace winger Wayne Routledge has rejected the club's new contract offer.

The 20-year-old will be out of contract at the end of the season, and The Eagles are desperate to get him to sign a new deal.

Tottenham and Liverpool are both understood to be monitoring Routledge and will be encouraged to hear he has snubbed Palace's offer.

Eagles boss Iain Dowie confirmed that the England Under-21 star had rebuffed the lucrative new deal - which it is thought would have trebled his wages - but insisted he would continue to try and persuade the player to commit his future to the club.

"Wayne has intimated to me that there is not going to be a positive response from him regarding the new deal," Dowie told the South London Press.

"But while he is still here and it goes unsigned I will spend every day and week trying to get him to change his mind."

Not only is he a Liverpool fan but actually originally a scouser I'm led to believe. I get quite a couple of the Palace lads in the pub and they certainly rate him.

We can not afford to risk a failed transfer now. We need proven established international players.

We should go for the likes of:

Guily (barca may let him go)
Etien (Levante player, very quick and tricky lad)
Guinazou (good argentinian midfielder)
Anelka
Kalou (Feyernoord)

We can't have another Diao happening. We need reasonably cheap players with good physical attributes.

Our main priority should be signing Morientes or Anelka, possibly even both.

Routlege has the same agent as Rooney !!

''But we were then told via Stretford to Bob Dowie that this player will not be signing for this club, it doesn't matter what we put in front of him, how much or when, he will not be signing for this club.''

Watch this space, Stretford will be in Manure's pocket, I smell dirty dealing here !!

Ye but surely if routldge is a scouser and a Liverpool supporter , why the hell would he join shrek and co ?
Just because his  agent is shreks as well doesnt  mean much to me to be honest, especially after the rumours of shrek thinkng he made a mistake going there
