what is your brilliant idea then stu you pr*** we need to be spending at least 30 to 40 million on three world class players thats why i said we need big investment with 10 million from the off casts dudek kirkland etc canizares won't cost alot,that is my view so go and take your stupid head for a big ****** you idiot. :oops:

I've got to agree with the Welsh Wizard as far as signing Canizares goes, that's a great shout! A new goalkeeper would be no harm at all. Dudek has to go, that blunder against Portsmouth summed him up, nothing to do for 90 mins then a ball comes in he claims was meant for a cross (so what you're a goalkeeper) in any case he never moved his feet or edged out which is usually what a keeper does if he's anticipating a cross.

So the ball comes near post and he sees an opportunity to say "Hey boys I'm number 1 here" get your cameras ready here comes the big dive the moment Dudek kept the 3 points safe with a spectacular save. Great if it were true but because he tried to make it look good and got it wrong we got a point & he looked like a clown.

If you ask me the jury is still out on Kirkland, too akward and timid for a big guy, neither Dudek or Kirkland look good enough to be the goalkeeper in a succesful Liverpool side.

Morientes or Anelka would be quality acquisitions too. Should be an exciting second half of the season for all connected with the Red Army.

actually canizares is 35 years old.We also need a good centre back to replcae hyypia as he is strating to lose it

i totally disagree about the need to get rid of dudek and kirkland and bring in canizares. dudek and kirkland are both class 'keepers - people still talk about kirkland as the future number 1 for england - future that is.

the 'mistake' by dudek was due to the unpredictability of the new ball. how many freak 'mistakes' have we seen by top keepers this season? i was reading an article recently (can't remember where it was so can't quote directly) about the pre-season tests with this new ball. all the keepers were completely freaked out by it and even the reps from the manufacturers were a bit embarassed by the way it suddenly changes direction in flight. anyway, it seems like they're gonna stick with it, so expect to see more goalkeeping 'errors' from our guys and all the others in the league.

My soloution isn't to sell good players and isn't to dream about how good it would be if we could buy 3 or 4 £15million players and then play them out of position.

My soloution is to let our manager get on with his work and see where we end up.

That's the beauty of this game fellas, everyone has a different opinion. I've been well impressed with Benitez so far and I genuinely believe that if he is given as long as GH was we will win our 19th Championship.
