Ok we haven't been great but ***** hell we can't catch a break. Just as we pick up some momentum against Glatasaray we get Salah injured who finally started to show some form and then Alisson. Despite that we still start this game well but 40 year old James f*cking Milner with just about his only contribution of the game injures Ekitike with a late tackle and our momentum dies down. Not even a bit of luck going our way.

Anyway, Frimpong has been awful in defence I felt, was struggling defensively even against Galatasaray, he must go off or go further up the pitch.

Once again we seem to be lacking a bit of intensity, especially when they've got the ball. To be fair we had a big game midweek whilst Brighton players were sat at home with their feet up but that's what happens when you play for a big club though.
We have got to be able to play with intensity for 50 or 60 games a season not 1 or 2.

This season for me is a complete write off. I am not expecting any silverware this season, I am not expecting a CL spot. I am expecting more and more dross between now and the end of this miserable campaign.
I am expecting Slot will NOT be at the helm next season, indeed hoping for that. I am hoping we spend BIG in the summer and get rid of Salah, Konate, Chiesa, Jones, possibly even VVD.
I am hoping we spend on proper hardworking midfielders.
I'm hoping we invest in a defensive coach because whoever is in 'charge' now hasn't a fcu.king bog what he's at.
A thoroughly miserable, depressing campaign this year. So many players are just an embarrassment

There's no leadership out there anymore. VVD is not vocal enough to be captain, and theres no other leaders on the field.

Oh and Gakpo has been absolutely useless again. Its like playing with 10 men.
