The manager has been unlucky in terms of injuries but we went up about 4 gears after we went 1 down, where was that urgency for the first hour.

The manager is like a bleedin' statue on the sidelines. No energy from him. Nothing. He can see that exact same ***** we see and he doesn't act or react.

Was hoping we'd snap 3 points to keep up the pace with United/Villa. Bad result and performance.

Van Dijk is way too laid back to fire the lads up to get back in the top 4. He just waves his hands around and gives death stares, nothing else. Hendo used to take them to one side and fire them up give them instructions.

Hard to argue with that, It took him months to sub Mo and he has this annoying habit of taking off players who are playing well.

Injuries haven't been that bad Yakka.  Most of them wouldnt have played much either like Endo and Bajcetic. Leoni could end up being no better than whats in the U19's. I wouldnt be expecting too much from him tbh.

As you said we go up the gears after going behind but time after time we start the next game exactly the same. Injuries are only a small part of the problem imo and its Slot who is the biggest. His tactics are rubbish and he wont change. He cant motivate the players either to the level required. Its like watching Ten Hag at the wheel.

Hey Lads ! lets not get to disheartened . Every cloud has a silver lining.
Another one or two games lost and we might finally get those in power to get rid of Arne fking Humpty Dumpty Slopp .
Call me a blasphemer BUT ! I hope we continue to under perform if it means we get a manager in that actually has a pair of kick ***** balls attached to him

Kerkhez.                     2.                                         0/0.                                      0.                             54.                      2.                     0.
Rio.                              3.                                         2/2.                                      0.                            23.                      0.                     0.
Chiesa.                       1.                                         0/0.                                       0.                            6.                        0.                     0.
Robbo.                        0.                                        0/0.                                       0.                             19.                      0.                     0.

In a nutshell we move the ball too slow and wont run at players 1 on 1. Its just sideways and backwards stuff hoping we get a break with a pen or scabby deflection. Its nowhere near good enough to put fear into any team in the league.

Does anyone think Millie or Hendo - proper leaders - would allow this muck on the pitch? Our current captain is toothless

Well that was dire, only good thing to come out of a loss is the potential that the club will fire Cloghead.

Hiya mate, oh don't get me wrong i think he has made mistakes, major one's, it's just that anytime we do seem to be making a bit of progress an injury happens, down our right hand side for instance, Bradley and Frimpong were building a really good partnership but next minute they are both out, same with Isak, he hasnt just looked awful he's looked disinterested but there were signs he was starting to come good just before his injury.
Even Wirtz now, i know he hasnt got a serious injury but imo that Forest game and last nights game are completely different games if he plays.
Slot has looked like a deer in the headlights all season but to be fair to him if we had Bradley and Frimpong down the right, Isak up top with Wirtz either on the left or behind him with Hugo on the left we'd look a much more potent team.

He's out of his depth now, plain to see. Injuries are unfortunate but playing style has everything to do with Slot. He's turned us into a weak team that TBH are easy to beat. We're mid table now and the man who has steered us there is Cloghead himself. to stop the rot we need to move him on sharpish, he's f*cked it up Yakka and you can dress it up all you want and look for excuses to accept mediocrity but the bottom line is the fact he has sunk our ship.

A lot is down to him i agree, continually playing Salah for months on end when he was way off the pace was practically a dereliction of duty, we were effectively playing with 10 men for weeks and weeks and weeks because lets face it Mo didnt track back when he was in his mid 20's never mind his 30's, if he's not scoring or assisting he's basically a passenger because he's not the type to roll his sleeves up and muck in, as incredible as he's been he never has been the type to put his shoulder to the wheel like say a Sadio.
We've had Isak and Ekitike since last summer as well yet they've started something like 2 games together which is another head scratcher.
I'm not exonerating Arne from any blame i'm just saying on top of everything else injuries and particularly the timing of them have really kicked us in the balls this season.
