Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Beginning to think we've had our pants pulled down on this guy.He just doesn't look a Liverpool player. He reminds me of some of the dross we used to buy from clubs down the league in the 90s.

I've been very harsh on Kerkez and for good reason.. but I've seen a big improvement in the last 4 or 5 games. I can still see him and Frimpong being the new Trent/Robbo.. them 2 were getting in good positions vs Wolves yesterday and causing problems with their crosses.

Still has a bit to do before id feel comfortable tbh. Just think he is so rash and continues to clatter into challenges. Struggling to remember any of his crosses finding anything other than the 1st man yesterday. Also hate to see players going down over the ball like that. I will say though thats hes a nightmare to play against, always kicking and leaving something in the challenge to the point i reckon someone is gonna deck him   Hes like a dog in heat!!

Yeah "Rash" is a good way to describe his play. The fella is obviously determined to justify his signing for the club and stamp his name on selection ahead of Robbo, for me he's very aggressive action orientated BUT tactically unaware. A great prospect but still a work in progress, give him another season with us and we might be singing his praises but as things stand right now I'd go with a fit Robbo every day of the week .

To be fair to the lad he's a trier, he hasn't gone into his shell he's trying his best but he's still a bit raw and unrefined for me, he needs to learn how to get his head up and pick out a red shirt and he needs to practise his crossing as well he's a bit hit and hope.
What i would say about him though is that he's undoubtably improved, he's definitely a better player now than when he first arrived.

Yeah, he's improved slightly I guess, well the whole team has done a bit better since that losing run, but I don't see a huge improvement in Kerkez like with Wirtz for example, he tries very hard (maybe too hard at times) but his football intelligence is lacking IMO and sadly that's something I've rarely seen to ever improve in players.

Maybe I'm being harsh, he's new to a big club and still only 22, so it might take time for him to show his worth. However, I agree that Robbo is definitely the better player at the moment and shouldn't be treated like this.
