If he goes, who do we bring in?

If he goes, go straight back to Jurgen and do whatever it takes to look to get him back.

I'd like to know what the fans sentiment was on ground, waiting for Reg to let us know.

It has happened with other teams but not with us. I don't think we've ever even sacked anyone who has won the league with us at all, never mind just months after. But at this point I really don't know what other choice do we have, getting battered at home by average sides week in week out is just unacceptable.

Have you seen a team who run away with the league and fighting relegation the next? Because this is the form we are at right now

I'm pretty sure Mourinho got sacked in his second spell with Chelsea right after winning the league, I think their form was even worse than ours is now.

In any case, we usually don't sack league winning managers but the situation is so dire that we might have to do it.

Ah zero recollection... but you're probably right @damjan193

We should have some answer from the club shortly? :Oo:

Postby red till i die!! » Thu Nov 27, 2025 1:30 am

Looking at the highlights again and half of them are just strolling about the place. WTF was Van Dijk at with his hand up there like that for the 1st. Salah with awful control for the 2nd and let his man run on free to play the pass in. Konate for the 3rd and Gakpo leaving Mac short with a pass that led to the 4th. He then strolls after it but wastes more energy blaming Mac who is trying to recover it.

Honestly cant wait till Salah goes to Afcon because Slot hasnt the balls to drop him. Gakpo is such a waster and nowhere near good enough for Liverpool.  Grav switches off so much and has terrible control. Konate is a joke but its on us for sticking with him. Alberto Kerkhez is about right as well.

If Slot gets the boot its his own fault. Look at the faces of the players on the bench and you can see that we have problems. Players are talking about us having to be better but not seeing anything materialise in the following games. Just a repeat of the same spineless effort and mistakes. The worst of it is no way was I expecting that loss after forest spanking us last week.

It's vital for the club finances we have a good CL campaign and it's also an opportunity for the side to experiment etc.. Just hope to god the players grow some balls and steamroller whoever's in front of them.

Hope you have a good one buddy. If we do underperform I'd like to know what the sentiment is from the fans at the stadium.

What an awful night. Standing on the Kop behind the goal and VVD gave me a wave at just the wrong time. 1-0. And it just got worse.

Last night we played without a RB, Konate was fragile again, MacAllister had another night off, Mo had zero impact on the game and VVD now prefers Morris dancing. You can’t win games at this level like that.

The atmosphere was bad, many, many lifelong fans saying Slot has to go. Saying big mistakes to give VVD and Mo new contracts. Annoyance that Izak came on and played outside Gakpo on the wing (£125 million striker trying to mirror Mo?). Sideways tickytacky passing stupid football without actually moving forward and zero goal threat.  How can you go from Champions to playing like Norwich over a summer?

I don't like sacking managers, there are no good replacements out there but FFS Slot at least act as though you know what you're doing.

I'm having a bad day.

Ahh so looks like sentiments are more less same now, with locals and people outside. A lot of fans are just fed up now with the same shyte week in week out. Don't think I've come accross a fan who wants him to stay.

After Wednesday's defeat, Slot said he has got 'a lot of support from above' and he feels 'safe' in his position

It beggars belief...

Well for arguments sake if that is the case then let's look forward to a relegation fight this season.

If i was Slot i'd sell Mo to a Saudi team in January and use the money to build a completely new defence. This is the worst back 4 i've seen in my time, even when we had the Nicky Tanner's and Torben Piechnik's of this world we weren't shipping goals at this rate, nowhere near it. You have to go back to the 50's when we nearly dropped out of the second division and into the third to find anything remotely comparable.
He can't fv.ck around just bringing Guehi in, as good as Mark Guehi is he's going to need a hand to sort this sh1.tshow out.
