We screwed this season, we look like a mid table side. Shadow of our former self. We're getting sliced time and time again, we've got no cohesion, no pace. Slot love affair with Salah carries on. Will be fighting for a UCL spot the way things are going or possibly Europa. We look fekin sh1t! Dare I say it but is Slot being found out with his own side.....

The amount of duels we are losing all over the field is alarming. Coasting around, no fight, slow in possession, slow at closing down.. sideways and backwards all game ffs. Players not turning up.. Gakpo was dreadful despite his goal. That's a wake up call right there!! Salah needs to be less selfish he's not the player he was 2 years ago. Only Robbo fighting for the shirt today.

Can't believed we got so bad so quickly...he had Jurgen to thank for last season. The first 5 games peppered over our weaknesses with this new squad and Slot have no idea how to even steady the ship, much less steer it around

This lot had half of their squad out injured too and the other half got injured during the game. Absolutely inexcusable to be losing like this.

We take an age to get the ball forward, to be fair most of the time we go backwards so i guess it's a bit of a mute point but everything we do seems painfully slow and laborious.
Can't believe how physically weak we are as well, it's got to the stage if there's a 50/50 you're actually shocked if one of our players emerges with the ball. We need a change of formation imo, 433 doesn't suit or get the best out of these players. I'd go to 3 at the back for a bit, 2 up top, get Gomez alongside Virgil and Ibou see if he can help stem the tide, we are shipping far too many. Frimpong and kerkez look like wingbacks to me anyway.

Id try 5-2-1-2 aswell. Salah and Gakpo are not doing enough this season, both dont have the pace to beat a man. We might aswell have Kerkez and Frimpong bombing down the wings and have 3 at the back incase we get countered on. It was so painful watching the last 3 games.. teams just sit back and everywhere is congested. Arsenal have the advantage as they just score goals from crosses and set pieces, we try to play through teams.

The defence is the big concern for me, if you can't keep clean sheets you've got no chance of achieving anything in this game, that's not necessarily me pointing fingers at our back 4 btw, when Jurgen's team was in it's pomp teams struggled to get out of their own half because of our press, that stifling pressure we applied to teams was largely down to the hard work of our front 3 and MF at the time. We are weak as pi.ss defensively all over the shop not just at the back. We need more bite and aggression all over the park, under Jurgen our defence used to hunt in packs, this team doesn't even hunt never mind in packs.
I think we have a group of players who believe their own hype, they see the signings we have made and expect things to happen instead of going out there with the attitude that we need to make things happen

Think we went there looking for a point tbh. Didn't throw the kitchen sink at it like he usually does so leads me to believe he was happy with a point till we got suckered. You could see it coming as well.

Diaz was a big drop down from Mane but Gakpo is far worse. Diaz could run at players where Gakpo doesnt excel at anything. Hes far too passive and not worth the minutes hes getting. Salah is finished and thats obvious to everyone except Slot. No balance in midfield either with Szob running the legs off himself to cover the wingers not tracking back. Hes been pur best consistent player this season but being used like sellotape to cover other players shortcomings. Slot really needs to figure out his best side quickly or look at changing tactics because that is not the Liverpool side we expected this season

Hopefully now we are off top spot their will be less focus and pressure on us. We can reevaluate things over the break and hopefully hammer the filth then. Losing to that lot will be catastrophic!!

Hes trying to fit Szoboszlai anywhere he can.. he actually plays alot for Hungary where Salah plays for us, so thats a definite option going forward. I know its a massive risk, but id actually start playing Ngumoha from the start instead of Gakpo. He can beat a man, and teams double team him so that'll leave more room for the other players to exploit. Under Klopp we set traps with our press, now we just jog around..

It's frustrating but Slot needs until Christmas to find the right system for this team. Rather than buy one quality player a season and maintain continuity we change both full backs and bring in 3 top midfielders/attackers whilst failing to reenforce the centre backs - in fact we sold Quansah. The current lack of cohesion was entirely predictable and we're paying the price for our own stupidity. We'll still come top 3 but champions will be difficult.

TBH , when they signalled 7 minutes of added time I thought we might actually go on an win the game. I was obviously disappointed

Not sure where we go right now. It just seems to me that we are getting Out Run ,Outfought and Out thought by the opposing team.

Has the praise that's been heaped onto the team gone to the players heads ? Are we going into each game thinking we'll win this one as well ?

It's an old adage but for me it remains true "Successful teams build from the back"

Sort out our defensive "plan" i.e. don't f*cking concede and with the pace we have in our attack, play a counter attacking game.
Some will say "but Woof the opposition will continue to sit deep and invite us on to them"
I say, so what ? don't take the bait, we've got the quality to play them at their own game, I'm fully convinced that provided we shut out the other team,in a game of small margins and few chances we'd come out on top, AND ! if we don't win it ? I'd rather come away with 1 point than none at all.
