Sad news indeed, Joey was never the most skilful or cultured of players but he would literally run through a brick wall for you. He was there to give the team a fighting spirit, to give it a soul. With teammates like Kevin Keegan, Emlyn Hughes, Ray Clemence etc etc he played in a great team in a great era, an era before the game became sanitised.
Thanks for everything Joey, Rest in Peace mate.
