We are like a rocket that flew to the moon in record speed but exploded on the way back. Ultimately FSG are in control and zoom meets with Klopp will be heated. I am concerned because we have a history of resignations and Klopp himself walked away from Dortmund after a disastrous season. Something has to give, you can't dwell on the past for too long. Squad looks done for mentally and physically, maybe Kloppo is too.
And look what Jurgen did here after having a disastrous spell in Dortmund - 3 European finals in 5 years and 11mm away from back to back titles in the most competitive league in the world. This club hadn’t won the league title in 30 years before he arrived here and given the wealth of the likes of City, Chelsea and United and the way our owners like to run a tight ship the odds were massively against him ending that wait. No way on earth is Jurgen done, this particular group of players may be done but he certainly isn’t, he’s in his managerial prime.
Our fans in the 60’s had to wait 6 years for Bill Shankly to put together a second great team but when he did that side went on to dominate English (and European) football for almost 2 decades. Sometimes even great managers need a bit of time.
