Liverpool Football Club - Games

Frustrating night against a tricky team. From a technical standpoint I quite enjoyed the game. Life for AM at Anfield will be very different. Obviously our lives become very difficult if they score an away goal. However I don’t see us going 180 minutes without scoring. It’s going to be a typical European night an the home of the World Champions !!

Atletico got lucky, their goal was a fluke, it wasn’t created by good play it was down to the bounce of the ball and sheer luck. In 90 minutes at home, in front of their own fans, they best they could do was eek out 1 solitary chance (when Morata slipped over). We were away from home, in a hostile environment, and playing well below par yet still dominated possession and that was with a ref falling hook line and sinker for all their shenanigans too.
It will be a completely different story at a fired up Anfield.

Agree with all sentiment here. I STILL despise their brand of football. And I think their manager is an ar$e.
But.
He's an ar$e who knows how to get results. Who wins stuff, ugly, but wins.
Winning at Anfield won't be a million miles away from the 4-0 result last year at home.
It's THAT important against this shower of cynics in two weeks time.

They will win the 2nd leg IF they put in a real shift. This will be the game so far this season they'll have to
work their hardest.
If they don't they'll lose. That is how annoying it is to play atletico.
