We had to gamble.. But Adrian has shown to us what he always was, a reserve keeper at best.

We are far from the finished article.. We need to add quality to this team because when a player is injured the drop in quality is massive.

Fair dues to them, they’ve beaten us home and away.
We played well ourselves to be fair but that goal 2 minutes after we took the lead just knocked the stuffing out of us.

Well, that's that, we can't play in the final EVERY year now can we? Wouldn't be fun that way

It's frustrating because since the '' winter break'' we've looked really lethargic. If Atletico would have played us November over 2 legs we would have probably beat them 4 or 5 nill.

Can't really complain atletico best us playing anti football and it paid off over 2 legs.

Nothing personal against Adrian, he stepped up to the plate early on in the season and contributed well to our amazing pl campaign, but at European level he obviously falls short. Fair play to athletico, say what you want about their style of play but they know how to get the job done.

Just like the 2018 Champions League, Liverpool played their ***** off only for incompetent goalkeeping to hand 'Madrid' the platform to win, once again. Adrian needs to go.

I think the tough thing to accept is that we’d done the hard part, everyone in football knew Atletico would be a tough nut to crack but not only did we equalise we actually went ahead. Then we threw it away.

We just need far to many chances to score lately. We did much better tonight in creating plenty but none of them are clinical enough to finish them.

Still we had it and then Adrian gave it away which makes it worse. Really poor stuff from him.

To be fair to Karius at least he got us to the final, he played in all 6 knockout phase games (Porto, City and Roma).
