Starting to feel a bit sorry for him. He looks completely lost and devoid of any confidence. In the past 4 seasons he’s had a good month of two here and there but that’s it really. Really needs to go somewhere permanently where he’ll be the main man.

Just don't rate him to be honest. He did very little when on loan and hasn't shown anything to make me think he'll be anything more than the Belgium version of Danny Welbeck.

Salah has scored more league goals in a single season than Origi has in his entire career  :suspect:

Sh*te is the word your looking for pal. He scored 6/7 in 36 appearances for wolfsburg. No where near the required standard and I'm shocked Klopp hasn't sold him.

Been a lively sub recently coming on down that left hand side. We'll need a few of squad players to make a meaningful contribution between now and the end of the season if we are to stand a chance of winning the title. Maybe Big Div will score or create an important goal or two.

To me Klopp's replacing one cheap squad player substitution option (Sturridge) with a younger version. Net gain to LFC, zero. Bye bye Studge, hello Divock.

Edit: and I might add I don't think any of us are convinced he's a natural or potentially prolific goal scorer either. Wolves were willing to pay 22m for the lad, we probably couldn't replace him for that but is that why we're keeping him? Be honest, he's not LIverpool calibre.

We apparently accepted the offer from Wolves in the summer but he turned them down. He might be regretting it now looking at how Wolves have done. But clearly we are willing to sell. He has a year left on his contract from the summer so we're probably trying to extend it to protect his value but with the aim of selling him.

Is there any logic in keeping the lad on our books for a prolonged period??

I think Klopp is just waiting for the right replacements to come along and I feel him and Sturridge will then be offloaded.

Thank god he refused to go to Wolves !! He’s scored some incredibly important goals this season. He is only 24 and still possibly has a lot more to offer. I don’t see us selling him in the summer unless we get a crazy offer !!

In answer to your question, after last night i can only ,

And also add, strength in depth mate, there's not many players who will spend most of their time on the bench but when called upon will turn up like he has  :buttrock

Yes woof he was epic last night, worked his socks off. Surprised everyone. Maybe Klopp could utilise the lad in our squad next season in some capacity as he can get vital goals like last night and against Newcastle and Everton this Season.

He became an Anfield hero last night!

Amazing clinical finishing from the lad. He's gone from fringe player, to LFC legend this season.!

Give the lad a new deal!

Hail.. SIR Divok!
