Totally agree, on what I've seen of him I think the money being attached to his name is a fking joke.

From the Mirror
Georginio Wijnaldum 'planning shock Liverpool exit to link up with old boss at Fenerbahce'

The Dutchman is said to be unhappy that he'll be behind in the pecking order at Anfield after the club signed Naby Keita and Fabinho.

And Turkish source A Spor , says the former Newcastle man has been given the green light to join his old boss at Fenerbahce.

Wijnaldum, 27, played 33 matches last season, scoring one goal and supplying two assists.

His high energy displays are were a feature in the Reds march to the Champions League final - but many believe Keita is better suited to the role.

At Fenerbahce he would be reunited with his former PSV boss Philip Cocu.

Hope we can hang onto Wijnaldum. I fully expect us to be challenging for honours on a number of fronts this coming season. He's maybe not part of our 1st eleven but still a great asset to the squad.

I'd like to keep Gini part of the squad he is a good player and can be used in this upcoming busy season.

Sounds like we are looking to wrap up Shaqiri before we fly out to the states. Not really sure about him to be honest. When he is good, he shows he has real quality but when he is poor, seems a complete passenger. £12m is absolute peanuts in today's market but he is going to have to up his game if he moves to us.  Our players put a real shift in and don't really associate Shaqiri being that type of player.

Rumours spreading..
So if we do sign Shaqiri, what does Klopp then do in pre-season with... Solanke, Ings, Origi, Sturridge and Wilson etc etc.!???

Loan them out again!? Surely there isn't room for everyone.

Fella down the pub said he knows Pickfords grandads barber and he reckons he heard someone on the x93 bus to Scarborough telling someone we’re having a good look at Pickford for the keeper position at Liverpool.

We had a real issue last year with squad depth, anytime we rested one of our front 3 there was a huge drop off in quality, it nearly cost us a top 4 place tbh (look at our league results at the tail end of last season as Jurgen juggled the squad in an attempt to keep the team fresh for our CL games).
As you say yourself DB £12m for a player of Shaquiri's quality is absolute peanuts, the club would have to be off its head not to take the opportunity to add genuine depth to our front line for what amounts to pocket change in the modern game.
As for his work ethic if he doesn't graft Jurgen won't play him its as simple as that, I'm sure he will put a shift in though, he won't want to waste an opportunity like this.
At the end of the day mate he is a huge, huge upgrade on the likes of Ings and Solanke and for £12m quid we go into next season a lot stronger and I guess that's all that matters.

Going into the window for me the priority was to replace Can with a high quality DM, get a replacement for Coutinho who can play in midfield and the front 3, and add another front 3 player who could provide genuine cover. If we add Fekir and Shaqiri to Keita and Fabinho I'd be pretty happy.

Daily Mirror reporting that Fekir wants Lyon to re-open talks with Liverpool Soon.

Another strong rumour is we are very close to completing the Shaqiri Deal.

Think Fekir will be ours by the deadline. One thing I do find strange is their hasn't been a scramble for his signature considering the form he has shown for Lyon. Maybe teams are vary of his previous history with injuries, I don't know but do find it a bit odd. All these stories linking him with Utd and Chelsea seems more the work of Lyon trying to force our hand imo.

So first thing today I wake up to Alisson bids again and when I get home from work Danny Ward is being made No1from No3. It's a wonder we can keep our sanity over the summer, not sure who's playing media games but it's always a rollercoaster window.

It wouldn't bother me if we went into next season with Ward as our number one, he looks a solid keeper.
I'd much rather we did that than spend £60m on Allison, he's only worth half that amount, if that!
