The thing about the concussion is he seemed perfectly alert when complaining to the ref that he got elbowed, surely immediately after would be the worst effect. In the old days
being concussed meant knocked out cold (basically you had to have cartoon birds flying in a circle around your head) but now they broadened the definition to headaches, nausea, feeling dizzy etc. I'm not a doctor so I may be wrong and probably there was an effect but it is a contact sport and the mistakes he made did not seem like they were made because he was in a trance. They were stupid errors that he always looked prone to make, watching him last year.
I don't think he is not good enough because of the mistakes he made in the CL final although I am irritated by them. It is more about the fact that he never filled me with confidence when I watched him play. We need a goalie that makes game changing saves when the team needs it, we need a world class keeper and he is no where near that. Watching Uruguay with their best defense in the World Cup unraveled by a single goalie error reminds me of how important that position is. You can have the best defense in the world but without a top keeper it will merely be average.
70 million for Allison and 100 million for Oblak is ridiculous but it's not my money
