I think the best movies I've seen in the last few year that stand out for me are (The Prestige) a really clever movie from Christopher Nolan that has a few twists to keep you interested.

Another weird one was one called (Memento) which is another Nolan film about a man living the same day over and over again trying to work out clues to his wife's murder.

(The next three days) this is a Russell Crowe thriller where his wife is wrongfully accused of murder and the only way to get justice is to break her out of prison.

(Gone Girl) Ben Affleck plays the role of a guy who's wife disappears and he becomes a suspect in her murder.

Watched "Annihilation" recently. Interesting movie can get a little confusing but i liked the concept. You can intepret this movie in a few different way but the main theme seems obvious.

Best movie I've seen in the last 3 weeks was 'Three billboards outside ebbing Missouri'.

I've seen a fair bit of tat in between that, not worthy of a mention.

Waiting to see Den of Thieves and that Red Sparrow movie.
Champions of England 2020.

Saw it on the plane before it won the award, had no idea what it was but really enjoyed it. Strong story mixed with humour. Recommended.

I saw Atomic Blonde the other night... I love Charlize....  :hearts

Watched it recently... the final scene was too out there for me... it's a good movie but not that great... Arrival was alot better...

Not even in my top 5 scifi movies. The ending wasn't great, it started well though.

Arrival is fantastic

I quite enjoyed it  but still had this overwhelming feeling that it could have been done a lot better

Three billboards was great. Thought I'd be watching a very serious, dark movie, maybe a bit depressing as well, but the humour caught me off guard, in a positive sense. Highly recommended.

Watched "Three Billboards" whilst I can only applaud many elements off the film, especially the performances of all actors involved, I was ultimately left underwhelmed     :(

No movie in particular to whine about, but I've a stupid amount of flying to do next weekend and the following week. Checked the Etihad movie library for the month and it's cack. Nothing I'm interested in. Gonna be a looooong series of flights.  :help

Movie selection on Emirates and Qatar are not bad so I'm sure there must be a decent flick on Etihad.
Name a few mate I'll recommend you one.
