The Premiership - General Discussion

Ha! Well done to Rochdale for scoring a late late equaliser. Spurs thought they had won it with a Kane peno.

The replay will mean more games for them which is better for us. Also Mannure progressing i guess is good for us aswe, keeps them busy.

Looks like Mannure will scrap it out and win the trophy.

Swansea/Sheffield Wednesday vs Rochdale/Tottenham

Manchester United vs Brighton

Leicester vs Chelsea

Wigan vs Southampton

-------------------------

So we could've played Wigan.

It would be nice to see an underdog win this year.

I hope I'm not mocking us by posting this but this Spurs v Palace game is unbelievable, god knows how it's stayed 0-0.

Edit - I just mocked us  :no

Not sure why Conte took Hazard off when there was still 20 odd minutes to go.

Yeah that was a bizarre decision from Conte he should have kept him on. Chelsea just didn't perform in the 2nd half.

As if the late winner by Spurs wasn't enough. Oh well, at least we now have a 4 point distance from 5th placed Chelsea.

The Spurs game was ridiculous though. They had that day when the ball just wouldn't go in for them. They even missed an empty goal at point blank range, that one will go on youtube as one of the worst misses ever. Kudos for them for seeing the game through with a win though, these victories are the ones that make the difference at the end.

Kane isn't going to let Salah win the golden boot is he.

Kane 24 (1)
Salah 23 (8)
Aguero 21 (5)

Yeah they did show quite a bit of mental toughness there, after some of those misses (particularly the Kane and Aurier ones) they could have been forgiven for throwing the towel in and putting it down to one of those days.
They did make heavy weather of an injury ravaged Palace team though, let's hope their excellent recent form is starting to tail off a bit.

All Liverpool can do is win our last 10 games and hope the others drop points.  To some extent what the others do is in the hands of the gods.

It was a blow Utd beating Chavski last night as I assume the Chavs will go hell for leather to bet City which might mean they get 3 ponts out of 6 rather than the ideal 2 or less.  Every point matters at this stage...

Spurs was cruising comfortably leading Juve by 1-0...the Higuain got one back and Spurs crumbled. Juve 2-1 (agg 4-3) moves on against all odd for most part of the game. Experience won the day
