Well it is a football forum - posting football opinions is certainly better than insults and accusations is it not ?

Maybe let other members have a discussion that doesn't necessarily include you ?

Nice squirm. Your definition of 'proven' seem to be more flexible when you look back in hindsight.

He won the title 10 years prior, we signed him at 35! Even Leeds had deemed him surplus to requirements, hence his move to Coventry.

I reiterate my position, if we had signed him today - there's very little chance of not seeing an attack on the club for an uninspiring signing or some other jive about the manager or owners.

Gary Mac became a cult hero because he was accepted from day 1 to prove himself. Additionally Houllier was trusted in the decision to sign him.

Most of us strive to do the same for Rodgers and his new signings.

A forum is indeed about opinions and as you've been told for years now, mainly by me, it would be nice if you didn't always swamp this forum with yours. Maybe let other members have a discussion that doesn't necessarily include you ?
